Le Meridien Kochi

I had the pleasure of staying at Le Méridien Kochi from 1st August to 6th August, and the entire experience was truly mesmerizing and amazing.

From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the beautiful property, peaceful surroundings and the warm hospitality. The ambience of the hotel is wonderful and creates the perfect atmosphere to relax, unwind and enjoy your stay.

What stood out the most during my five-night stay was the exceptional service provided by the entire team. Every staff member I interacted with was courteous, professional, friendly and always ready to assist. There was a genuine warmth in the way the team treated guests, which made me feel comfortable and well looked after throughout my stay.

The food was another highlight. The quality and variety were very good, and every meal was enjoyable. The restaurant team deserves special appreciation for their attentive service and for maintaining such a pleasant dining experience.

I was particularly impressed by how consistently good the service was across the hotel. Whether it was the front desk, housekeeping, restaurants or other departments, everyone worked together to make the stay comfortable and memorable. That level of consistency is what makes a hotel stand apart.

The five nights passed far too quickly, and I left with some wonderful memories of my time at Le Méridien Kochi. It was more than just a hotel stay—it was a genuinely relaxing and memorable experience.

I would happily return to Le Méridien Kochi on my next visit to Kochi and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable, peaceful and memorable stay.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An absolutely wonderful experience!

We stayed at Le Méridien Kochi from 14.08.2026 to 16.08.2026 in the Annex Building, and it was a truly memorable experience for our family.

Right from the reservation stage, Ms. Preeti was extremely helpful and made the booking process very smooth. Upon our arrival, we received a very warm welcome from the team and were then taken by boat to the newly renovated West Island Block. This made the experience even more special, as we were among the first guests to stay in the newly renovated block.

Ms. Rincy accompanied us on the boat ride to the island and warmly explained the hotel facilities and everything we needed to know about the property. Upon reaching the West Island Block, we were given a wonderful traditional welcome by the General Manager, Mr. Satish, and his team, which made us feel truly special and added a memorable touch to the beginning of our stay

The rooms were very spacious, beautifully maintained and extremely comfortable, especially for the three of us. What we loved most about the property was the unique feeling of staying in a peaceful lakeside resort while still enjoying all the conveniences of a city hotel.

A special mention to Chef Mr. Minesh Mathew, who personally interacted with the guests and made sure that everyone was comfortable and enjoying the food. His personal attention made our stay even more memorable. The food was excellent, with a wonderful variety, and the restaurant team took very good care of us throughout our stay.

The hospitality from the entire Le Méridien Kochi team was outstanding. Every member of the staff we interacted with was courteous, friendly and genuinely interested in making our stay comfortable.

There was nothing negative about our stay. From reservation to check-out, everything was handled wonderfully.

Overall, it was an excellent and memorable family stay. We returned home with beautiful memories and would happily choose Le Méridien Kochi again whenever we visit Kochi.

Highly recommended for families looking for a relaxing resort-style experience with excellent food, spacious rooms and warm hospitality.

In the first hour of us arriving: I received about 5-6 calls from reception apologising for the inconvenience caused:

• one hour delay in getting one of our 2 rooms ready, this is despite us arriving one hour later than the published check in time and mentioning it in our prewelcome email to the manager a day before - so the whole premail gesture and all is just a show and means nothing
• The luggage was sent to a room which was initially assigned and then changed so we had to wait to get our luggage even longer - this took few phone calls
• Despite me asking for two keycards, i was given only one then after another phone call, got another card.. which didn’t work, so i had to call again to get another card
• The chair was broken, i almost fell down backwards so had to call again to get a replacement chair
• There was no ottoman, so another call to get it up
• Finally when i went for a shower, there wasn’t a bath mat so another call to get it

That’s my check in experience which only cost me half a lakh rupees! I must say some if the budget hotels near the airport had much better check in experience for a fraction of a price!!

USB ports were not working

Condensation and wetfloors - definite slip risk in the morning, A/c technician came and said nothing wrong and went. See photos below (Room 213 - river view) We were then swapped to the room opposite so have to lose the river view which was one of the highlights of our stay! - photos attached

Exhaust fan in the toilet wasn’t working and hence the walls were building ip mould - definite health risk. I explained all this to the duty manager,who said will give me a call after my checkout but no call received. He did give me an option to go to a suite upstairs(3rd floor) but i declined as i just wanted what i paid for

Beds - not comfortable at all! Very springy and sinks in

Gym was basic - one of the two treadmills was not working

Good things - staff were polite and helpful, breakfast was good
