Meemorable getaway
It was a wonderful trip. The front desk, housekeeping staff and the chefs were remarkably helpful. They made sure we felt comfortable at every step. The rooms are spacious and clean. The location of this hotel is the highlight, so much so that you find people clicking pictures outside this hotel. The amenities were good, and they were extremely careful about the safety and hygiene for the baby.

Eleganc, Tradition and Friendliness in the heart of Fort Kochi
This is an exceptionally good hotel in the heart of Fort Kochi! The location itself in one of the most important streets of old Fort Kochi (the oldest part of town) is magnificient. Not only the beach/ seaside but also many other attractions of Fort Kochi (Vasco da Gama church etc.) are just a short walk away. The reception on our arrival - though we arrived actually early in the morning - was very friendly. The whole building has a carefully preserved old world charme, which includes tasteful decoration with wooden interior etc.. The preservation of the old (jewish) bath in the atrium is an additional attraction. Coming to the staff I must say that we were everywhere met with utmost friendliness. The front-desk was helpful in organizing a backwater-tour. The housekeeping put a smile on all our faces by arranging the towels similar to my little sons little teddy-pig. Restaurant-staff was always helpful, the chef came to our table to inquire for special wishes. The food in the "jetty-Restaurant" (dinner a la carte) is very good and the breakfast-buffet, too. I would strongly recommend the "heritage walk" in the morning, we had a very knowledgeable guide ("Rajesh") who literally knew not only every building in Fort Kochi but - as it seemed to us - also every person. To sum it up: this hotel can only be very strongly recommended for anyone who wants to get a feel for Kochi.

Perfect stay
Staff and hotel were wonderful. We will come again. Food and service were excellent. Very attentive and caring staff. Even better than some five star chains we stayed in recently!
