This peaceful, Kerala-inspired resort has 56 rooms and 9 private pool villas. Its most delightful feature is the free-roaming chickens, ducks, turkeys and emus throughout the landscaped gardens.

The staff were well trained and hospitable. Special thanks to:
Miss SANUSHA from reception
Miss Ajita from laundry service
Mr Paulus from the northeastern Indian state of Assam.
Mr Arjun from room service
Mr PRANAV from restaurant
and the exceptionally kind and welcoming head chef, Mr Roy.
.
Ambaal Restaurant serves traditional curries, fermented breakfast dishes and holy basil detox water. My daily lunch was my all-time favourite: dal tadka with rice.
.
Although the resort offers extensive greenery and attractive lake views, parts of the gardens and surrounding outdoor areas would benefit from more consistent maintenance and tidying. Guests should also be aware that the road leading to the resort is narrow and bumpy.
