Pleasant Home Away From Home
The newest property in Marriott Group’s portfolio in Goa, the JW Marriott in Vagator, met all our expectations and exceeded a few.
The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous, with beautiful interiors and plenty of inviting spaces to relax in beyond the room and lobby.
The rooms felt new and were very well-appointed, with all the luxuries you would expect.
We were assigned a point of contact, Mr. Sachid, who was always just a message away and extremely helpful throughout our stay.
The one thing that would push me to rate the hotel beyond five stars, if that were possible, would be the overall level of service.
Right from our airport pickup by concierge associate Shawn to the wait staff at their restaurants and bars — Roji at Heliconia and Shain at Perola — we had a near-flawless service experience.
Heliconia does a wonderful job with Nikkei cuisine, and I would recommend it even if you are not staying at the hotel. JW Kitchen, their all-day restaurant, offers an extensive breakfast spread, although the à la carte experience was a little disappointing.
From a location point of view, it is close to several high-quality restaurants such as Izumi, Hosa, Jamun, and many more. It is about a kilometre away from the beach, which is worth considering if you are specifically looking for a beachfront property.
Having said that, the hotel delivers on all counts and is a place I would highly recommend.

A wonderful birthday celebration and dining experience
We visited this place with our family to celebrate a birthday, and it turned out to be a truly wonderful experience! ✨
The ambience is amazing, the food is delicious, and the entire team is incredibly warm and hospitable. A special mention to Sanju, who took exceptional care of us and made our celebration even more memorable with her wonderful service and attention to detail.
A big thank you to Ritesh and Pragya, who was my first point of contact while booking the dining experience and made the process so smooth.
Thank you, Sanju and Naman, for your warm hospitality and for making us feel so welcome. And a special appreciation to the chefs and the entire kitchen team behind the scenes for preparing such delicious food. We thoroughly enjoyed every cuisine and dish we ordered.
Overall, it was a fantastic family experience, and we look forward to visiting again! ❤️

5 days stay in Sept 2026
My parents recently stayed at the property for five days and absolutely loved their experience. Manisha Verma went above and beyond to take care of their needs and made sure they felt comfortable throughout their stay.
We truly appreciate the warm hospitality, personalized attention, and thoughtful service from the entire staff. It made their visit especially memorable.
Would definitely love to visit again!
