Good property with helpful staff
Had an excellent stay @Crystal by Morpho Goa Villagio Resort. Thanks to the entire staff for making our trip comfortable. All were polite and helpful. Special thanks to Mr. Virender Singh for his hospitality.
Comfortable hotel, but the service is below average
We stayed for 3 nights in March 2023. The exterior of the hotel looks good upon arrival. Our check in was done quickly and we didn't have to wait. Now coming to the rooms- there is no lift in the buildings so we hade to climb the stairs. The property is not new and the rooms furniture and furnishings and the bathroom fittings were all old. The shower hardly worked. The mattress was squeaky. There was a medicine pill on the side table and a wrapper on the floor that hadn't been cleaned. Another important thing - the lights in the room are so very dim! If you want to read you can't because there's no tubelight, just very dim lamps. I found it extremely strange. One night I asked for a mosquito repellant and they said we don't have it. They promised to give it the next morning, but never did. The swimming pool and restaurant are a short walk away. That part of the property is beautiful. The food was delicious and the service was good. The pool is large and deep with a separate kids section. On the positive, it is only 550 meters from the Betalbatim Beach. Overall our stay at this hotel was just OK.

hospitality was not good
We took package (I.e 2 adults and two children ,includes 2 nights and 2 days ) which comprises of free breakfast, free lunch/dinner buffet coupons.
What is Good: Ambience is Good breakfast was ok to have
What is Bad: Everything else is pathetic
- Rooms are not Clean/hygiene
2.service is not Good 3. Food quality is not Good , looks like they are storing the leftover in fridge and serving the same next day. 4. Swimming pool water is not cleaned regularly 5. hospitality was not good ( i dont recommend this hotel except for taking pictures ).
First day after checkin, we went to have lunch around 1:30 PM. Since it is buffet we thought they will serve various of dishes. But, to our surprise all the vessels are empty. When we asked the incharge about why the buffet is not prepared yet. They said that they are not aware of the checkins, this is really irresponsible behaviour from them. they made us to wait for almost 3 hours to cook for us instead of buffet. There were around 4 children’s in our group and were starving till 4pm. Finally they gave us food around 4PM, instead of buffet they served us white rice, chicken gravy, dal, paneer masala.
The resort people almost served us same menu( rice, chicken gravy, dal and paneer masala ) almost for all 2 days lunch/dinner buffet. And to our surprise they did not even served any starters items and desserts. Serving one or two items they are calling as buffet, literally they have changed the meaning of the buffet.
And during our last day of checkout , we mentioned them to prepare the food by 1PM, as we need to board the train at 3:30PM.
Again to our surprise even after 1PM the food was not ready, even though we informed them in advance.
And they served the food which is leftover in previous day dinner.
Since we were in hurry, we did not argue and left without eating much.
Basically, they are taking advantage of customer situation and promoting packages with false promises.
Worst
Terrible experience ever. Dirty rooms...poor lighting and foul smell in the bathroom. The rooms felt damp and stinky. Absolute disaster. Resort was totally under staffed. Only 2 guys at the reception who didn't knew their job well. We need a full refund as early as possible. Or else we will have to take a legal action
Not worth your consideration
Not worth 2000 Rs !! No room service in our 2 nights 3 days stay, Rooms infested with bugs and ants. No housekeeping for the time we stayed. We had to get our complementary water from the reception ourselves. 1st day Breakfast was all we ate in the hotel and it was so pathetic that we decided to not have any more food there. Only Pro is the room size is big.
