Very disappointed with Taj Holiday Village’s handling of a genuine family medical emergency
We had to cancel our stay because our 2.5-year-old child has a high fever, my wife is unwell, and my 70-year-old mother is also unwell. I had already paid ₹49,648.
I understand the cancellation policy, and I am not insisting only on a refund. I have offered reasonable alternatives: first, transferring the full amount as a credit towards a future stay; second, moving the booking to alternative dates; or, if neither is possible, considering a meaningful partial refund.
I have contacted the hotel repeatedly over the last two days. Today, after being told I would receive a callback, I escalated the matter by email and through Taj’s central desk. Despite repeated assurances, I have received no response.
Very disappointing handling of a genuine family medical situation. I sincerely hope senior management at Taj/IHCL takes notice and reviews this personally.

Home away from home experience.....
Have been staying at this place for many, many years. It always feels like coming to a home away from home. We had a problem with the room that we checked into on the first day. The front desk graciously changed our rooms without any questions. Of special mention to Zara at the front desk, who was a big help.The Taj hospitality and its staff are, as always, excellent. The rooms which are newly refurbished are good. The older rooms definitely need a makeover. But always a pleasant experience staying in this holiday village, Just like any other Taj property across India and overseas

For our family, Goa is simply incomplete without Taj Village Resort! Every visit feels like coming home, thanks to the wonderful hospitality, kindness and warmth of the entire team.
Special thanks to Chitre, the restaurant manager, who made breakfast time so enjoyable and even helped arrange a shaker for my iced coffee! A big thank you to Sweta and Veve for being so helpful throughout our stay.
To all the servers, helpers, housekeeping staff and everyone behind the scenes, thank you for making our stay so memorable.
We will miss you all and can’t wait to return! It’s the people who make Taj Village so special! ❤️
A Memorable Family Stay at Taj Holiday Village, Goa
We had a truly memorable stay at Taj Holiday Village. This was our second visit to the property, and it was especially meaningful this time as we were accompanied by our parents.
They thoroughly enjoyed their stay, from the lovely breakfast and easy access to the beach to their morning and evening walks around the beautiful, lush property.
We were given two adjoining rooms, which made our family time even more special. The grandchildren loved running from one room to the other, spending precious moments with their grandparents. It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying themselves and making beautiful memories together.
Overall, a beautiful stay filled with family time, warmth, and wonderful memories. Taj Holiday Village continues to be a special place for us, and we look forward to returning!

Taj Holiday Village Resort & Spa, Goa – Truly Our Home in Goa!
Our stay at Taj Holiday Village Resort & Spa, Goa, was nothing short of exceptional. We were celebrating my 40th birthday, and the entire team went above and beyond to make it an unforgettable experience.
From a thoughtful upgrade to a beautiful cottage and an early check-in to a lovely birthday cake-cutting ceremony upon arrival, every detail was handled with warmth and care. The in-room decoration with the heartwarming message “Welcome Home” was especially touching and perfectly captured what makes this property so special to us.
A special mention to Mr. Kumar and Mr. Reekshit, Deputy General Manager, who personally welcomed us upon check-in. Their warmth and personal attention made us feel genuinely valued. The beautiful handwritten note from Mr. Javed Deshmukh, Cluster General Manager, was another wonderful gesture that made the occasion even more memorable.
What truly sets Taj Holiday Village apart is not just its beautiful setting and charming cottages, but the genuine hospitality, thoughtful gestures and personal connections that make every stay feel special. The team understands that it is often the little things that create the most lasting memories.
