Taj Fort Aguada Resort and Spa

We are frequent visitors to Goa -one of our favourite places for a quick relaxing recreational break .We chose taj fort aguada again having stayed thrice earlier and each time having a memorable trip This one in the magical monsoon july month coincided with my birthday celebration . Right from the initial e.mail interactions with Nishat Laljee to the check in with personal welcome by Mr Deepak Rawat the GM and Isabelle from guest relations,we were made to feel pampered in the typical unmatched Taj hospitality. Infact the entire staff were cordial ,smiling and helpful. We were graciously allowed early check in with lovely welcome cake ,wine ,fruits for the special occasion . The room which was sea facing was in the older room wing where we had stayed earlier also ( I believe some rooms have been refurbished) but there was nothing lacking as far as the facilities and service was considered . Of course the USP of Taj aguada is its beautiful location overlooking the vast sea at one end of Candolim (Sequeirim beach ) and the fort and the exquisite green gardens with walkways and landscape especially at the top area where sunset point is situated -as going out was not very convenient due to persistent rain we walked everyday in the morning to the sunset point and enjoyed the magnificent views and the sea beeeze -what we missed was a chai ki tapri there and apparently according to Mr Deepak they are contemplating introducing it soon. The breakfast as usually was extensive and delicious and like we did before we enjoyed one breakfast at taj village also where one can go by buggy or resort car . I also enjoyed a relaxing Spa massage and it was good . The beach access was unfortunately closed from taj aguada side( due to monsoon) and that may be a deal breaker for some and for them taj village would be the better option But as sea entry is anyway not allowed in monsoon it did not affect our enjoyment . We enjoyed two dinners at their sea food restaurant Morisco and also the sea food Goan thali which is a must .( special thanks to Mr Atharva the chef for arranging it ) The pool is an infinity pool and the view overlooking the sea while swimming is lovely .It was good to see Mr Sanjeev again at the pool and also a thanks to Mr Santosh . Overall we had yet another unforgettable stay at Taj fort aguada and would definitely come back yet again especially in monsoon where one can just enjoy a relaxed stay reading kindles and enjoying the view and sea breeze over wine and food and actually appreciate the resort fully .

Our family recently stayed at Taj Fort Aguada Resort & Spa for three nights, and it was truly one of the memorable hospitality experiences we have had.

What made our stay exceptional was the incredible care shown by the culinary team. My wife has an autoimmune condition with multiple food sensitivities and allergies, including gluten, dairy, spicy food, sour foods, and several other ingredients. Travelling with such dietary restrictions is always challenging, and we were genuinely concerned about how she would manage during our vacation.

A very special thank you to Chef Suresh and Chef Priya Ranjan, along with Chef Amit, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. They took the time to understand my wife's dietary requirements in detail and thoughtfully prepared fresh, customized meals for her three times a day throughout our stay. Every meal was prepared with great care, attention to detail, and genuine compassion.

Because of their dedication, my wife was able to enjoy delicious, safe meals without worrying about her health. That peace of mind allowed our entire family to truly relax and enjoy our vacation. Their kindness, professionalism, and willingness to go the extra mile made us feel cared for rather than just looked after.

We would also like to appreciate the warmth, courtesy, and hospitality of the entire resort staff. Everyone we interacted with was welcoming, attentive, and committed to making our stay memorable.
