Lovely smaller hotel with large rooms and comfortable huge bed. Sheets renewed regularly and towels daily.Staff are very friendly and helpful from reception, pool, cleaning, waiting staff and security. A beautiful tropical haven as soon as you walk through the gates. Lovely breakfast, the egg station fantastic. Ravi, Vivienne and Prity do a great job keeping people happy with food and drink. The entertainment could be better, but that said most people are going out in the evenings. I left a bracelet by mistake in the safe when we were leaving. Paul the manager contacted me at home and arranged for a guest to send it to me when she got home. This is definitely going above and beyond. Thank you so much to the lovely room cleaner, manager and fellow guest. We were in room 422 , pool facing after upgrading from a room looking out onto building works. I hope we are able to visit again soon.

We recently stayed in Room 413 and had a fantastic experience This is a great, small and friendly hotel that maintains very high standards We paid for an upgrade to a Pool View room as the first room we had been allocated faced the rear of the hotel and was dark. This was dealt with efficiently through the Manager and the Reception Team and was well worth it; the room was bright, large and well equipped, featuring a separate dressing area and lounge Rooms were cleaned daily with regular bedding and towel changes. The gardens and pool area were kept beautifully by the hardworking grounds and pool staff The food was plentiful and delicious, offering a great mix of English, Goan and Indian options Every member of staff from Reception and Security to the Restaurant team were incredibly helpful and attentive - a true credit to the hotel We had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend this hotel without hesitation We will certainly be returning

This is our third visit to Somy Plaza. Although not our inital choice of hotel On this trip as the travel company we were using did not have Somy in their itinerary. After travelling 21 hours we arrived at the ‘hotel’ we had booked we stayed 5 hours and then booked 21 days in Somy, now frighting the other hotel for £800 we had to book somewhere clean. Back to Somy plaza, as in previous trip Somy did not disappoint rooms are large clean and tidy. All are modern and cleaned daily. We had booked mosquitoes in the room which was an absoloute blessing. The pool was amazing. Perfect temperature and perfectly clean. The pool guys, Vivian and the rest were perfect, speedy delivery and good prices. Food round the pool was also awesome especially onion bhajis! Paul the manager is amazing. Super helpful and friendly even when I discovered Amazon India. There is nothing I can complain about, already booked for 3 weeks in March again. Hoping to see if the kittens survive and if they remembers the crazy cat lady. See you in March xxx
