Whether enjoying an intimate couple's retreat or a getaway for the entire family, the 153 rooms and suites at this Goa resort offer havens of space, comfort and serenity, while the resort's new Diwa Club is an enclave of exclusivity, boasting its own lap pool with an open air hot tub and hot tub.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Our stay was excellent. As it was our daughterβs birthday and her first visit to Goa, we were upgraded to a suite, which made it even more special. Thanks to Velecia and her team for this lovely gesture.
From the room service to the breakfast spread, everything was excellent. We would rate our overall experience 10/10.
A wonderful stay with best experience and most hospitable staff!!! Recommend this stay during off season because the will to leave the property is very low in case you want to explore Goa !
We had a wonderful stay at Alila Diwa Goa with our daughter and were especially impressed by how clean, beautifully maintained and peaceful the entire property is. The restaurants were a real highlight, with each one having its own distinct ambience and genuinely different cuisine, which kept the dining experience interesting throughout our stay. The pool is fantastic, extremely well maintained and has a beautiful view that makes it a great place to spend time and relax. A special mention to Vijay and Janhavi, who were incredibly warm, helpful and attentive, and made us feel genuinely well looked after. Overall, the combination of excellent hospitality, great food, beautiful surroundings and attention to detail made our stay very memorable, and we would happily return.
Excellent weekend stay. We got an upgrade to Diwa club which was much more comfortable and peaceful. All meals were very good. Ambience is also great.
Alila Diwa Goa can be termed one with a great natural setting hotel. This hotel and its higher category rooms are very good. This place boosts of some trees which are more than 50+ years old. their food restaurant is good. If you are like me, who is a lazy tourist and don't want to venture out too much then its the place to be. The Sunday brunch is quite exquisite with a live counter of poultry and sea food available. The rooms are great with a huge balcony overseeing the swimming pool (there are 2 of them). The bathroom is stylish and got modern aesthatics. The bed is really quite comfortable and provides a deep slumber. Some drawbacks, the beach is not close and the hotel provides a van to transfer guests to and fro hotel from 8AM to 7PM. The beach itself is not great in any sense and so one can avoid it. There seems to be some good outside restaurant, called Mikes place or something which seems to be quite famous but I did not visit that. Finally, the managers here are quite high nosed ones and getting one of them to have attention is difficult, especially when you are troubled and need assistance. its in South Goa so never take flight to MOPA. Go for Dabolim only.
