Great, Almost the Best
St Regis Goa, earlier a Leela, is a beautiful property nestled in South Goa about 1 hour drive from the Dabolim airport. We had few speedbreakers in the overall stay but by the end of stay team won us over to rate it 5 stars.
ARRIVAL Since St Regis is nearly on top of the Marriott Bonvoy pyramid, you can expect the resort staff to be professional and friendly at the same time. The journey started with few email exchanges ultimately resulting in a easy check in process assisted by Kanika, Shubham and Riya.
ROOMS We requested for an upgrade to St Regis Suite since we were celebrating few occassions, and the team did not disappoint. St Regis Suites are beautiful accomodations with separate living space and are equipped with all the required amenities.
RESTAURANTS There are 4 main restaurants: Miri (All day dining), Oliveto (Italian), Riverside (Asian) and Susegado (Seafood Grill). You have 2 bars: The Drawing Room at the welcome lobby and Palmera at the pool side (also has finger food). The food overall is very nice, we tried all these restaurants apart from Susegado since it was closed for renovations. You can ask the Chefs to prepare meals as per your liking and they will do their best. There was some Culinary issue with our food. Upon informing, the team took special care of our food thanks to Chef Ravinder, Chef Sagar and Chef Jyoti. Shubham, F&B Director also checked upon us. We also had kids travelling with us and team ensured food for kids was prepared with utmost care. Additionally, Karan at Miri was very friendly and patient with our requests.
ST REGIS SPA I had a 60 minutes Aromatherapy massage and my Therapist Ruthi was really nice.
SERVICE OVERALL The service throughout the resort was very good. The Buggy service, the room refresh (twice a day), the staff's attentiveness and the maintenance of the resort, all was great. Special thanks to Shubham and Kanika, and a shoutout to our Butler Dinesh, who was always there whenever we needed him and helped arrange things for us. Shubham, infact, reached out to us on his non working day as well just to check if things were fine and, along with Dinesh, helped arranging special birthday setup at Riverside. Kanika proactively kept meeting us during breakfast and messaged us to check upon us. Riya helped arrange birthday surprises in room.
SUGGESTIONS & CLOSING
- The initial confusion with room could have been managed better, although Shubham, Kanika and Riya sorted it
- The Spa definitely needs an overhall, rooms are too small. The property is spread in 49 acres but when you enter Spa, you feel like its an urban tower hotel rather than a widely spread resort
- A beach bag in room can be a huge plus, atleast for resort use only and chargeable if taken away by guest
- Kids club could be better
To summarize, St Regis Goa is an amazing resort setting high standards and few tweaks, can be the best beachside resort in India.

An Amazing Offsite Experience at The St. Regis
Stayed at The St. Regis for an offsite with around 66 people, and the experience was truly wonderful. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for a relaxing stay. A special thanks to Prerna Kaushal for the warm welcome and smooth check-in experience. She was friendly, helpful, and even guided me with nearby information. Anand Tiwari did an excellent job managing all the arrangements for such a large group. He was quick, efficient, and always prompt in handling requests. Also, Pankaj Joshi took great care of our lunch and dinner events. His warm smile, attentiveness, and courteous service made everyone feel well looked after. What made the stay even more memorable was waking up to blooming lotus flowers outside our room and enjoying the fresh, peaceful surroundings. Overall, the hospitality and service were exceptional. Would definitely recommend The St. Regis for both business and leisure stays.
