Hilton Goa Resort Candolim

Not a place for a solo trip, I booked it only to experience this property.

The hotel is well located, has a huge space, small casino inside, large lobby, reception on the first floor and the room are then in another complex, atleast mine was.

Quick check-in, long walk to the room, one block to another, and some stair case to climb because the lifts are slow and small and usally serving a large amount of guests in each block.

The room is big, can be nicer though, felt old. The view is the pool, so it is a bit noisy. Bed is comfortable, furnishing is decent and washroom is also large.

You need your own vehicle here because they may have problems for Goa miles to come, local taxi can be expensive for small distances and its just easier with your own car. The valet can be time consuming too.

The breakfast spread is huge, but also a lot of guests do come at that time, so it gets noisy, kids and stuff you know.

It is a great property if you are looking to be indoors with kids and family, there is decent amount of entertainment available.

The staff are nice and helpful, smiling and always there to serve you.

I paid 12000+taxes per night, with breakfast.

I think for a couple of solo traveler there are better, smaller and nicer properties are similar prices.

We have stayed at many hotels, but the genuine hospitality and level of service we experienced here were exceptional. Every single member of staff went above and beyond, and what stood out most was that it never felt forced — people were genuinely warm, intuitive and truly cared about their guests.

A huge thank you to Raghib, Ravi, Jyoti, Raunak, Hashuna, Sagar, Santanu, Deepesh, Ayeushi and Rajveer — and please forgive us if we have missed anyone! Every person we encountered contributed to making our stay so memorable.

A very special thank you to the entire restaurant team. You were absolutely fantastic. From the moment we arrived, the restaurant staff were attentive, warm and incredibly thoughtful, providing everything we needed and so much more. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble, and they genuinely seemed to take pride in making sure we were happy.

The chefs deserve particular praise for the fantastic food and for being so enthusiastic about experimenting with fusion cuisine. It was wonderful to see such creativity and passion, and the food was consistently excellent.

What really impressed us was how intuitive everyone was. We hardly ever had to ask for anything because the team anticipated what we might need before we even asked. That is the definition of exceptional hospitality.

Jyoti deserves a special mention for teaching us how to make two delicious mocktails — such a lovely and personal experience that we will remember. The entertainment manager was also brilliant, taking the time to recommend places for us to visit and helping us make the most of our stay.

The reception team were wonderful and even treated us to shell necklaces and a Hilton welcome drink and juice — thoughtful touches that made us feel genuinely welcomed.

The housekeeping team were fantastic, with nothing ever seeming too much trouble. The Feliz restaurant team also went completely out of their way to get us coffees, despite coffee not normally being served there. That level of thoughtfulness really says everything about the people who work here.

We also thoroughly enjoyed the spa treatment and experience, and the security and parking teams were equally helpful and professional.

And a special thank you to Rajveer, who went above and beyond to help us locate a parcel at Blue Dart. It was something she absolutely did not have to do, but she took ownership and made sure it was sorted.

The hotel itself has excellent facilities, great food and a lovely atmosphere, but honestly, it is the people who make this hotel exceptional.

We would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone — but if we are being completely honest, it is the staff we would come back to see.
