Hilton Goa Resort Candolim

Hilton Goa, undoubtedly is one of the most scenic hotels in North Goa. Situated atop of a hill overlooking flowing river and lush green landscape, it offers a tranquil and most soothing experience. It offers a luxurious stay with best of amenities that can be offered. Having 3 different pools in different parts is more than sufficient for enjoying a soak. The infinite pool offers a spell binding view. Every room is seems to offer some kind of good view. While some higher category rooms have their own private pool. This hotel also has a casino in its premises but I have not actually ventured into that. One word of caution. this is a 4 storey high hotel and there are no elevators. So make sure you are ready for a bit of in house hike every time you come down or go up. The food choices can be better and the spread can be more varied. However, no complaints as the staff makes up the disadvantage with their superb service. They have a nice small bar and the bartenders are knowledgable on drinks and stuff. Though I restricted myself on Gin and tonic water but they do have a decent drinks stocked up. Visiting with kids can be fun as they have enough indoor games like air hockey, play station, basketball, etc. Just a note, most of the games are paid services. The rooms are well equipped and the bathrooms are spacious with bath tub and separate shower area. Almost all rooms have balconies that provide some good outdoor seating. Now coming to some other facts, this hotel is about 4.5 km away from Calangute or Candolim beach. One has to keep that in mind if they want frolic on the beach. if one is looking for a serene cozy stay, this is a place to be.
