We recently spent 4 days and 4 nights at La Estoria Goa, IHCL SeleQtions, and had a memorable stay that beautifully reflected the warmth and service culture that we have come to associate with IHCL properties.

The hotel enjoys an excellent location, just a short walk from Candolim Beach, making it easy to explore the area. We also appreciated the availability of two-wheelers and four-wheelers for rent just outside the property. Our pool-facing room was peaceful and comfortable, while the elegant lobby and reception created a wonderful first impression. We enjoyed the refreshing Kokum Sharbat on arrival, although we did miss the traditional Goan welcome with local musicians that we've experienced at other Taj properties.

One of the highlights of our stay was the food. We thoroughly enjoyed the à la carte dining at La Trattoria and the Goa Monsoon Feast, which was a delightful gastronomic experience. The cuisine was delicious, the ambience inviting, and the service consistently warm and attentive. A heartfelt thank you to the team for the thoughtful birthday decorations and cake, which made the celebration truly special.

What made this stay exceptional, however, were the people.

Pranali (Front Office) welcomed us with genuine warmth and took the time to introduce us to the property. Her thoughtful recommendations, engaging conversations, and attention to detail made us feel valued from the moment we arrived.

Sahil (Canterbury Bar) was one of the highlights of our stay. His storytelling, enthusiasm, and passion for creating memorable guest experiences made every visit enjoyable. We loved the mocktail and cocktail workshops, appreciated his excellent recommendations, and were especially touched by the postcard initiative. We are still eagerly waiting for ours to arrive!

A special mention also goes to Sanjoi (Restaurant Manager) for personally resolving an issue related to our shareholder coupons with professionalism and speed. We enjoyed our conversations with him, and his recommendation of the "dynamite" dosa was spot on. It was wonderful to see him moving from table to table during breakfast, ensuring every guest felt welcomed and well looked after.

The housekeeping team also deserves recognition for maintaining our room impeccably throughout our stay. Their consistency, attention to detail, and prompt service added greatly to our comfort. Overall, this was a wonderful stay made memorable by a team that genuinely cares about its guests. Thank you to everyone at La Estoria Goa for your warmth, professionalism, and sincere hospitality. We left with wonderful memories and look forward to returning again.
