This charming hotel enjoys a convenient location near Baga river, in Goa. Guests will find themselves close to the famous beaches of Calangute, Baga and Anjuna, including a good variety of shops, restaurants, bars and a large choice of water sports. This establishment provides a range of air conditioned rooms perfectly equipped and decorated in soothing tones to create a charming atmosphere ideal to relax. They all come complete with balconies featuring stunning views over the picturesque surrounding landscape. The two onsite swimming pools are ideal to take a refreshing dip in the warmer days and the restaurant, overlooking Baga River and the lagoon, offers an extensive menu with local specialities and Indian favourites. Those wishing to rejuvenate body and mind can take advantage of the ayurvedic massages on offer.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
I have been spending a month in Goa every year since 2007. I used to rent an apartment but, after my wife died, I wanted some support to be available if I needed it badly, so I chose to stay in a hotel. I have now stopped at Resort Lagoa Azul five times. It suits me perfectly. I have stayed in five star hotels when I worked but am far more comfortable in the Resort Lagoa Azul. The buildings are only three stories high and are set in beautiful gardens. The restaurant and reception areas are open, but are always shaded and cool. The staff are welcoming, cheerful and friendly, while providing a very professional service. I feel that I am living with a family, rather than stopping in a hotel. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and well maintained. Everything works, including WiFil, unless there is a local power cut. Rooms are thoroughly cleaned every day and fresh towels provided daily. Bedding is changed regularly. The room that I usually stay in has a huge balcony that has areas of sunshine and shade. It overlooks one of the two swimming pools and an area of natural vegitation with a small lake that attracts bird life. A fantastic breakfast is provided. It is so good that is put on nearly three kilos in four weeks. One thing that I like is that the hotel caters for Indian as well as European clients so it is not like staying in a tourist hotel and the restaurant cooks authentic Indian food which is quite reasonably priced.
Our experience was pathetic bcuz of repeated misbehave from one of there Tabla restaurant staff Mr Manoj. He was extremely rude and had no training of how to treat the guests. When I complaint about this to there GM, our room no 702 got changed by them during the continued stay from King Size Bed, ground floor to Ist floor's room no 714 which has Queen Size bed + electrical issue. We stayed here for 3 days and currently in it. This is really a bad experience. This property is nice but the way there management is treating Indian Guests, is completely not acceptable. Will not recommend this property to anyone. The management should refund the money for this poor experience.
Fantastic holiday made special by staff at the Hotel from reception the exceptional Laxman (Lucky) who is professional, friendly and greets everyone with an amazing welcoming smile, to staff at the restaurant who are cheerful, friendly hard working, to cleaners and pool attendants. Good food exceptional and worth every penny which is so reasonable. Very relaxing warm and friendly. Two lovely pools to choose from. Rooms are clean comfortable and relaxing. Close to shops and restaurants. Highly recommended. Can’t wait for next year.

We were on a b&b basis again restaurant staff brilliant the manager a lovely kind gentleman who made sure everyone was happy .The breakfast consisted of eggs whether omelete ,poached, fried, scrambled and boiled cereal fruit various indian staples lassi milk shakes to name a few , We had lunch there twice food and drink was good prices very reasonable .
