A beautiful quaint resort with a homely feel. Great food, service & ambiance, with warm, friendly & helpful staff. The location is central and walking distance from the beach.
Special thanks to Margaret, Franky, Sagar, Rubel and Chef Gautam for their excellent service making my stay a comfortable & unforgettable experience.
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction following my recent stay at your hotel. While the property may be visually appealing and conveniently located, it is unfortunate that the actual experience failed to reflect even the most basic standards of hospitality.
The following issues are of particular concern:
Lack of Bathroom Amenities: Essential items such as bathroom slippers were not provided, and the quality of hand wash and shampoo was subpar — not what one expects even from a budget property.
Untrained and Unhelpful Staff: It was evident that the staff is either inadequately trained or instructed to prioritize saying "no" over offering alternatives or ensuring guest satisfaction. There was a noticeable lack of initiative and courtesy across interactions.
Limited TV Channels and Unavailable Pillow Preferences: The in-room entertainment options were extremely limited, and thinner pillows were unavailable, causing discomfort. Guest comfort and personalization are expected as a minimum standard.
Rigid Breakfast Policy: Breakfast was chargeable on the day of arrival, which is understandable, but when not consumed the next morning — where it was included in the package — no adjustment was offered. A flexible and courteous approach is generally extended by most reputable hotels.
Charged Accompaniments with Meals: Basic accompaniments such as papad, pickle, or even salad garnish were not served unless paid for. These should be part of a standard meal and not treated as optional extras.
Misleading First Impressions: While the hotel’s location and colorful exterior may attract guests, the overall experience does not live up to the initial impression. A good façade cannot compensate for weak service delivery and poor guest care.
It is clear that fundamental elements of hospitality — comfort, courtesy, flexibility, and service — are not being met. I strongly urge the management to take this feedback seriously and take corrective action. If such core issues are left unaddressed, guest dissatisfaction will grow, and the hotel risks losing both goodwill and repeat business.
I hope this message is taken in the spirit of constructive feedback and that tangible improvements will follow.
Excellent property for staycation, beautiful rooms, family and couple friendly. The rooms are clean, equiped with all amenities and it has different view and especially few has direct access to pool. The staff is excellent, they are always welcoming and friendly and courteous. I would like to thank Ms Karen, Mr Lobo, Mr Paul, Ms Rani. They all are doing a fantastic job. I'm sure I'll visit again and stay here only.
Spazio resort was fantastic. The staff were caring and kind (special thanks to Margret) and the facilities were great. The resort is situated in a good location close to local shops and restaurants with many beach clubs and entertaining within walking distance.
This being my first visit to Anjuna, Spazio provided me with exactly what I wanted, ie. at least 3 star quality accommodation and facilities on the edge of town (where it is quieter) with good proximity to shops and bars, to the coast and the Hilltop music site. My double room was spacious with comfortable beds, a shower, air conditioning, a fridge and a small safe. The room was cleaned and the bedding sheets were changed every day. Credit to Margaret for the quality of this service. The external facilities are very pleasant and well maintained including the pool. The restaurant is open and available all day and well into the night with a good menu and bar. Credit to Sagar for the quality of this service. Overall, Spazio is managed very professionally with friendly, modest and attentive staff. I will be returning to Anjuna next year and simply won’t bother looking for alternative accommodation.
