The resort features luxurious Portuguese-style accommodation housing a total of 19 guest rooms. It provides stylish colonial interiors and contemporary designer furniture surrounded by beautiful tropical gardens. The resort also offers a beautiful swimming pool providing the perfect to relax and soak up the sunshine, conference facilities for business meetings and parties and a good restaurant. It is air-conditioned and greets guests in its lobby. A hotel safe is provided, as are currency exchange facilities and a newspaper stand. Refreshments are also served at the resort's café and bar. Guests can stay connected thanks to the Internet access provided and can take advantage of the room and laundry services on offer at this establishment. Vehicles may be left at the car park.
The resort features spacious and luxurious rooms with private verandas and individually regulated air conditioning and heating. The rooms have been uniquely designed with affection and care to provide maximum comfort. The furniture, fabrics and art in the rooms have been hand-chosen to ensure guests will experience top quality accommodation. Room amenities include cable TV, a minibar, Internet access on request and a safe. They are en suite with a shower and bath. A double or king-size bed features as standard, as do tea and coffee making facilities.

Great time
I had a wonderful relaxing time during my week. the room was spacious, clean, well presented. I had the Indian breakfast which varied daily. I had several meals, all prepared using fresh ingredients and were of a high standard. the staff were all friendly and courteous. I walked daily to the local amenities and when required they arranged taxis. I would not hesitate to book again.

Best experience in North Goa
Casa Anjuna was the best place we found in North Goa... Tranquil, beautiful, impeccably kept, lovely staff, perfect pool, lots of palm trees, lovely colonial architecture, tasteful deco interiors, ac ... Just stunning. Unsafe and poorly maintained hotel – not 4-star standard
🇮🇳 Warning about Casa Anjuna, Goa – Our Experience
We stayed at Casa Anjuna in Goa for 15 days and paid around 100,000 INR (approx. €1,100 / 8,300 DKK). The hotel is advertised as a 4-star property, but in reality, the standard is closer to 2 stars.
From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the place is poorly maintained and far below the standard shown in photos or descriptions.
We experienced: • ⚡ Dangerous electrical wiring – the water heater cable ran through a hole in the bathroom tiles with no insulation, directly next to the shower. • 🧼 Dirty and worn tiles in both the bathroom and pool area. • 🌴 Serious safety hazard – mature coconuts hanging directly over the pool and sunbeds, posing a real risk of injury. • 🦠 Green algae in the pool – we ended up paying daily to use another hotel’s pool just to swim safely. • 🔊 Loud noise for several days, as a man on the hotel grounds was continuously grinding and sanding metal furniture, making it impossible to relax anywhere near the pool area. • 🚫 Poor service and maintenance – staff were polite but did nothing to fix the issues. • 💡 Rusty and defective electrical fittings, unstable Wi-Fi, and cheap, low-quality supplies.
We came expecting a charming boutique hotel, but instead found a place that feels neglected, unsafe, and far below its advertised category.
I’m sharing this publicly so other travellers can make an informed choice and avoid the same disappointment. We have documented everything with photos and have filed a formal complaint with Booking.com, which is currently under review.

Great property, nice location, not well maintained and housekeeping is not upto the mark
The hotel looks beautiful and extremely well located in Anjuna. The property has been done beautifully and has a stunning old Portuguese home feeling and appeal.
Now here are the reasons for my negative review:
- The housekeeping at the property is not up to the mark at all. The housekeeping team is not trained - if you don't run behind them, the room does not get cleaned properly.
- The rooms are great, very tastefully done, however you can seek the aging of the property - the owners have not made any investments in the upkeep and maintenance of the rooms - (a) the AC makes noises, (b) the cupboards are not great and (c) the hot water geyser does not work properly - you get lukewarm warm water.
- The wifi does not work in the rooms, you have to go hunting around the property to get a good wifi connection.
- Breakfast: for some reason the breakfast does not start before 8:30am - which is strange as they are people who want to get up early. There is NO breakfast spread. It is limited to fruits, juice, eggs and one Indian mains. If you are there for more than 2 days, you will get the same repeated.
Summary: great location, beautiful property, nicely done rooms - has a few things that needs sorting - most importantly maintenance of rooms, housekeeping and breakfast.

Relaxing and pleasant place to stay
I had a wonderful stay at Casa Anjuna. The property itself is beautiful – the pool was lovely and the gardens are particularly well kept, creating a really peaceful atmosphere. Our room was also very comfortable and nicely presented.
A special mention must go to Devidas, who was an absolute asset to the hotel. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed, which made the stay even more enjoyable.
Overall, a very relaxing and pleasant place to stay, and I would happily recommend it.
