Stay in Jetwing Negambo Sri Lanka
All the staff members were very friendly, helpful, and professional throughout our stay. One of the front desk staff members, Mayumi, spoke with us during our departure and kindly asked how we had enjoyed our stay. We really appreciated her warm and professional way of communicating.
We had a wonderful experience at the hotel and will definitely come back to spend a couple of days here when we visit Sri Lanka next time. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so pleasant!

Great location, clean spacious rooms, kind, courteous and attentive staff. Great buffet breakfast spread. A must visit in Negombo.
Great location, friendly staff and excellent breakfast, but some areas need attention
We stayed at Jetwing Beach and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel is in a fantastic location, right in front of a beautiful, wide beach. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast had a great variety of options and was delicious.
The main drawback is that the hotel and room furniture and fittings are quite old and would benefit from updating. The flooring also looks quite dated, although the staff have clearly taken care to keep everything as clean as possible.
The two small rugs under the bed looked quite worn and dirty. Replacing them with clean carpets or rugs would make the room feel much fresher.
One other issue that I feel Jetwing should seriously look into is the use of glass bottles for shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. I have experienced the same issue at three different Jetwing hotels now, including Jetwing Beach. In some bathrooms, the holder is not stable enough to securely hold the glass bottles, meaning they can easily fall and potentially break.
This is particularly concerning when travelling with children, as broken glass in a bathroom could cause a serious injury. I understand the environmental intention behind using glass bottles, but the holders need to be much more secure, or a safer alternative should be considered.
Overall, a pleasant stay with an excellent beachfront location, friendly service and a very good breakfast. However, updating the rooms and addressing the bathroom bottle holders would make a significant difference to the guest experience and safety.
