Resort Avani is wonderfull.
Als afsluiting To conclude our group tour of Sri Lanka, we spent three days at this wonderful resort. Its location right by the sea is fantastic, and there is also a lovely pool if you prefer not to swim in the ocean. The pool manager, Nisanthe, is very helpful and keeps the pool area tidy and safe. The rooms are excellent, too; we had a view of both the pool and the sea. The food in the restaurant is good, with plenty of variety. In short, this resort comes highly recommended.

Relaxing stay at Avani Kalutara
We had a wonderful stay at Avani Kalutara Resort. The location is stunning, set between the Kalu Ganga River and the Indian Ocean. Creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, kind and always ready to help. The food offered a great variety and was delicious throughout our stay. It is a relaxing beach getaway. Highly recommended!

The quality of the food was inconsistent from one day to the next. Also, offering fresh fruit juice instead of soda would be a welcome improvement.

wonderful stay at Avani Kalutara
We had a wonderful stay at Avani Kalutara. The staff were exceptional—friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Their service was prompt, and everything was well organized and on time. Everyone was very obliging and made our stay comfortable and enjoyable.
The food was good overall. One suggestion for improvement would be to offer a wider variety of dishes in the Saturday and Sunday dinner buffet, as a bit more selection would make the dining experience even better.
Another area that could be improved is the beachfront. We understand that debris and litter are often washed ashore by the sea and are not entirely within the hotel's control. However, having the beach cleaned every morning would help maintain its beauty and provide a better experience for guests.
Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and truly appreciated the excellent hospitality. We would happily recommend Avani Kalutara and look forward to visiting again.
