Excellent Stay with Amazing Ocean Views
The reception experience was excellent—everyone was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and comfortable, and the ocean view was absolutely fantastic. Everything about the stay was great, and I’d definitely recommend this hotel.

Very nice hotell, pity that it is reconstruction next to the pool. Did not affect the experience that much though. Great service. Amazing views and feels secure.
The best hotel of our trip — that rooftop pool is something else
We finished 12 days in Sri Lanka here, and of everywhere we stayed, Marino Beach had far and away the best facilities. It is a proper city hotel, modern and very well run, right on Marine Drive with the ocean in front of it.
The rooftop is the reason to book. The infinity pool runs 53 metres along the tenth floor, set in a big garden, and swimming there with the Indian Ocean on one side and the Colombo skyline on the other is not something you forget. Come up in the late afternoon: the sunsets over the sea are spectacular, and the view down over the beach is just as good.
The room was superb — very comfortable, a king bed, a bathroom with both a shower and a bathtub, and an enormous TV. Everything felt new and properly looked after. Noise was not an issue either, which matters in a city location on a main road — the room was perfectly quiet enough to sleep well.
There are several restaurants and bars on site, so there is real choice without leaving the building, and the food was good across the board.
The value is very good too. For a hotel of this standard, with these facilities, the price felt more than fair — you would pay considerably more for the equivalent in most cities.
As a last stop before flying home it worked perfectly, and it would be just as good at the start of a trip. Highly recommended.
