An ideal location with a mesmerising view. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was helpful and courteous specifically Stephen who guided us effectively. There was a lot of variety to choose from at the breakfast. Overall, a memorable stay.
Returning to Sri Lanka after 16 years, I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and outstanding hospitality that made us feel at home. The rooms were spacious, beautifully maintained, and offered breathtaking views of the ocean. Waking up to the sea every morning was truly unforgettable. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and on some days I found myself simply staying in the room, relaxing and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and stunning scenery. The housekeeping team deserves special recognition for their exceptional work. The room was always kept spotless, fresh, and well-presented, with great attention to detail. The service throughout the hotel was excellent. Every member of the staff was polite, friendly, and always willing to go above and beyond to ensure guests had a wonderful experience. A special mention goes to the lovely receptionist who kindly assisted me with extending my stay by one night (I’m so sorry I forgot your name!). I would also like to thank Menura, who was always incredibly helpful with our inquiries and happy to assist whenever we needed anything. Overall, this was a truly memorable stay. The combination of breathtaking ocean views, comfortable accommodation, impeccable housekeeping, and exceptional hospitality made my return to Sri Lanka even more special. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sri Lanka and would gladly stay here again.
Good response and hospitality
Extremely poor experience, totally unacceptable The hotel is very dirty and the cleanliness standard is extremely low. The neglect is obvious from the moment you step into the filthy reception area, and it continues inside the rooms with dusty and dirty ceiling fans. The biggest issue is that they refill water bottles in an unhygienic way, and I have photos proving how dirty the bottles are. A very disappointing and unsafe stay. Finally I paid approximately $6 because I broke the hotel's dirty water bottle.
