We recently visited Sunset Blu for a business outing, and we were fortunate to be served by Lucky. He was extremely professional, friendly, and attentive throughout our visit.
This was one of the best service experiences we have had recently. The best part was that we never had to look for a staff member or ask for assistance Lucky was always there at the right time, checking on us and ensuring everything was perfect.

Best Sri Lankan Hospitality Experience
From the moment we checked in we were greeted with the warmest of Sri Lankan hospitality! Omesh De Silva, the Duty Manager on call at the time of our check in really ensured we had everything we needed for an amazing stay. The amount of thoughtful consideration he put into every detail from our room arrangement to even having food sent to our room when we were too tired to make it to breakfast was truly second to none! Additionally, the front desk attendant, Aedan Jansz, helped set us up for success with a few adapters since some of our luggage did not arrive on time. The combined efforts of Mr. De Silva and Mr. Jansz, along with the warm welcome of all the other staff members really started our trip off in a wonderful way and we couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you!
Good I staff
Came to Shangri La Colombo today for the Sri Lankan traditional buffet and it was honestly beautiful. The main dishes were great, but the dessert corner was my favorite part. It felt just like an old Sri Lankan home.Watalappam, curd & traditional sweets... everything was so authentic and well presented. Felt nostalgic in the best way. Highly recommend if you want to experience real Sri Lankan flavors in a lovely setting.Chef Lakshan,Lisoni,Iman and Pasindu give better experience about sri lankan sweets Really Thanks for them
Enjoyable afternoon
We invited a few friends to high tea at the Hilton Lab. They have three varieties of Platters. The food was really delicious and my daughter who is here on holiday enjoyed the Srilankan platter very much. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Special mention of Rahaman and Christo Manager who were constantly checking if we were enjoying the food. Sarala and Nareen too were ever ready to bring the water and drinks when ever we requested. It was a very pleasant afternoon.
