Great hotel!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Galle Face and only wished it could have been longer. All staff that we met were extremely courteous and eager to make our stay enjoyable and nothing was too much trouble. Everyone works extremely hard to keep the hotel looking in top condition. We particularly wish to mention Ms Peiris for coordinating our stay and Mr Chandana for sharing his knowledge and helpful advice about Colombo to enable us to get the most from our short visit. We would also like to thank the ‘hopper’ chef who introduced us to this delicious Sri Lankan dish! We appreciated the member of staff who ensured that diners were not disturbed by birds as they ate on the beautiful open terrace! Our room was comfortable and spotlessly clean and we very much enjoyed the history behind this well established hotel. Thank you for a lovely stay!

A lovely stay in a hotel immersed in history.
It was located perfectly for easy access to the attractions of Colombo. The history is easy to recognise when you are welcomed by the door staff on arrival. We were welcomed by Priyadarshi Peiris who is absolutely delightful and very passionate and proud of the hotel. She and her team made the stay much more enjoyable. The room was clean and well presented as was the bathroom. There is rea and coffee available along with bottlers of water. A small fridge helps ensure cold drinks for the next day. Our room was at the front of the hotel and was peaceful enough to relax without external noise. The service in all areas of the hotel was exceptional.

Me and my husband had an amazing stay at Galle Face Hotel! It was wonderful experience, and the hospitality was excellent. A special thanks to the gentleman(Sazni) at the reception who was incredibly helpful, friendly, and welcoming.
