Poor night’s sleep
The staff were friendly and rooms were spacious and comfortable. However it was impossible to sleep. The hotel is opposite a restaurant square where they play live music. When we stayed (on a Saturday night) it was rock music with an energetic drummer…and this went on until between 1-2am. We’re not fussy guests, but the volume levels in the room were crazy. They let us switch rooms to the opposite side which was helpful, but you could still hear it and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel (unless you’re out to the small hours yourself!)

Great staff and comfortable clean hotel
Great stay at centrally located hotel. Very good staff particularly on the front desk, lovely assistants in the breakfast area and from Sampath looking after our room.

Went to put me in a cheaper hotel & pocket the price difference
Went to put me in a different cheaper hotel (without even telling me they’d booked me into a different hotel, only saying ‘your room is in the next building’) and pocket my money for the difference in price! I paid for this room 3 months in advance. Not once did I receive an apology for their attempted deceit. They only communicated with me after I realised what they were trying to do and I insisted on getting my money back for the difference in cost. After 45 minutes of going round in circles with them refusing to give me any of my money back and me just wanting to go to a room (I no longer wanted to stay in that hotel but they didn’t care, took 0 accountability & were happy to have me stood in the hotel lobby crying), I was eventually given a room key for the hotel I’d actually paid to stay in 3 months earlier.
