Akash – The Heart Behind the Best Cocktails at Cinnamon Lakeside
A special shoutout to Akash, the exceptionally talented mixologist at Colombar, Cinnamon Lakeside. Every visit is an experience because of him. He has an incredible ability to create the most amazing cocktails out of what seems like “God knows what,” and every single round is a completely different masterpiece. His creativity, understanding of flavors, and attention to detail are truly outstanding. Every cocktail is unique, perfectly balanced, and somehow even better than the last.
What truly sets Akash apart, though, is his personality. His warmth, genuine hospitality, and infectious smile never fail to make our evenings brighter. You can see the passion he has for his craft, and he goes above and beyond to ensure every guest has a memorable experience.

A Must Visit for Cocktail Lovers
I recently visited Colombar at Cinnamon Lakeside, and it reminded me why it’s one of my favorite spots in Colombo. The atmosphere is always great but what really made the evening memorable were the cocktails crafted by Akash. He knows exactly how to make a cocktail that suits your taste and vibe 😍 Highly recommended and I can’t wait to come back for more!
Noisy Room
On second floor and noise levels were excessive in passage. Rooms need to be soundproofed. Unable to get proper rest due to noise. This needs to be addressed as otherwise this is an excellent hotel.
Best in Colombo
One of the best hotels in Colombo for great food and entertainment! I highly recommend Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo for its excellent dining options, vibrant atmosphere, and outstanding hospitality. The staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, and always make you feel welcome. A wonderful place to relax, dine, and enjoy a memorable experience.
Dining Room Buffet Resturant
My solo experience at the Dining Room was such an incredible dining experience at Cinnamon Lakeside. Special thanks goes to two beautiful ladies Chalani and Himay who gave a superb friendly, and cozy service. Looking forward to go again
