The Palms is such a popular Sri Lankan resort; it's got that wonderful mix of great location and amenities, and a beautiful beach right on hand. Based near Beruwala, south of the capital Colombo, it's a prime spot. Sightseers will be drawn to Sri Lanka's first recorded Muslim settlement dating back to the 11th century, with its impressive Mosque.

Of course, sun-seekers and relaxers will want to spend as much time as possible on the beach. It's just a short stroll from the hotel out onto the palm-fringed beach. You can try your arm at beach volleyball, take a dip in the clear blue sea, or simply lie back and soak it all up. It's up to you.
With this wonderful location come all the facilities of an exceptional four-star hotel. The air-conditioned twin and double rooms all feature a balcony so that you can really make the most of that sensational view. There's plenty to do in and around Beruwala of course, but the Palms Hotel has plenty to keep you entertained too. The Palms is a popular 4-star resort right on the beach near the resort of Beruwala. It is arranged so that all rooms overlook the sea and are only a short stroll through the grounds to the palm fringed beach. Good guest facilities at the hotel include an Ayurvedic centre.

Waste Money
Checked into Palm Hotel with high expectations but was very disappointed. *Room was not cleaned properly, bedsheets had stains *Bathroom was smelly and water pressure was very low *So much noise, couldn't sleep at all *Service is terrible, they don't respond to complaints *Food was cold and tasteless Complete waste of money. There are much better hotels for the same price.

An Outstanding Stay at The Palms, Beruwala – Exceptional Service and Wonderful People! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
My partner and I spent several days at The Palms in Beruwala, Sri Lanka, and we can honestly say that our stay was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. What made this hotel truly special was not only its beautiful surroundings and facilities, but above all the outstanding staff, whose warmth, kindness, and professionalism made us feel welcome from the very first moment.
From the moment we arrived, we received a warm welcome at reception. Despite arriving very early, our room was ready immediately, which was a fantastic start to our holiday. Our room was exceptionally clean, beautifully maintained, and offered a wonderful sea view. It was cleaned and tidied every day to a very high standard. A special thank-you to the housekeeping team – the ladies and gentlemen working behind the scenes do an incredible job, and their dedication deserves genuine recognition.
The food in the restaurant was excellent, with a great selection and delicious meals. I would especially like to thank AMILE, one of the chefs, who took the time to explain the ingredients and dishes to us. His friendliness and passion for his work really stood out.
A special mention also goes to SEWMINI, who was always attentive and remembered our preferences so well that she often knew what we needed before we even had to ask. That level of personal attention made us feel truly appreciated as guests. Thank you also to ASHMIKA and all the other ladies and gentlemen in the restaurant whose names we unfortunately could not remember. Every single one of them contributed to making our dining experience enjoyable and memorable.
The beach was beautifully maintained, and the swimming pool area was a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the holiday. We always felt comfortable leaving our belongings on our sun loungers, even when we went for a walk along the beach. The security guard was attentive and made sure our belongings were safe. This gave us an extra sense of comfort and allowed us to enjoy our time without worrying.
The beach bar was another highlight of our stay. We were always greeted with a smile, and the guys did a fantastic job preparing delicious cocktails and providing friendly, attentive service. A special thank-you to THISITHA, whose knowledge of wine was impressive, and to JANITHA, the bar manager, for helping create such a welcoming atmosphere. The entire bar team deserves praise for their excellent service and positive attitude.
What impressed us most about The Palms was the genuine hospitality. The staff never made us feel like just another room number. Their kindness, attention to detail, and willingness to go the extra mile made a real difference. It is the people who turn a good holiday into an unforgettable one, and this hotel has an outstanding team.
The beautiful ocean views, the relaxing atmosphere, the excellent food, the clean facilities, and, most importantly, the wonderful people made our stay truly special. We left with fantastic memories and sincere appreciation for everyone who made us feel so welcome.
A heartfelt thank-you to the entire team at The Palms, Beruwala! You should all be proud of the experience you provide to your guests. We would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sri Lanka, and we would love to return in the future.
