Worthwhile and enjoyable stay to finish our trip.
This was the final stop on our whirlwind tour and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here.
Check in was really quick and the ladies at reception were very friendly (we found this to be the case throughout all of the hotel staff that we had dealings with) and very helpful.
The room had been recently refurbished (couple of things need revisiting to truly finish it off) and overall it was really nice. As I said, there were a couple of issues but, you don't come here to stay in your room so it wasn't really an issue.
The food at the buffet was really good and the prices at the bar, very reasonable. A very relaxed atmosphere around the hotel although there is some refurbishment work going on that went on quite late into the night.
Pool area was really nice and the pool/ towel attendants were very pleasant and helpful.
There is a beach adjoining the hotel but it is a public beach. Not an issue however and it was our first chance to say that we had swam in the Indian Ocean.
Grounds are vast and it was highly amusing to watch the squirrels using the bars and deck chairs dotted about as a play ground.
We had a very enjoyable stay and we'd like to thank everyone attached to the hotel.

The hotel is old and tired and would benefit from a significant update. The hotel was undertaking some renovation work while we were there to the dining room which made meal timed chaotic and noisy. During our stay the electricity tripped out 5 times. Limited choice of foods that were not hot and spicy. Weekend events for locals and weddings made the hotel noisy with loud music and parked cars obstructing the view of the sea. Staff seemed rushed of their feet. There were a couple of waiters who were great and one chap providing drinks by the pool who was excellent, as we're the pool guys.

We had a fantastic experience at Cinnamon Bey Beruwala. The room was superb, beautifully maintained, and very comfortable. Overall, everything made our stay truly memorable, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the hotel.
A special mention to Thathsarani, Yasiru, and Nishantha, who assisted us during the dinner buffet. Their friendly service, attentiveness, and warm hospitality made our dining experience even more enjoyable. They took great care of us and made us feel welcome throughout dinner.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Beruwela Bey. The relaxing atmosphere, comfortable rooms, and warm hospitality made our visit truly memorable.
A very special thanks to Mr. Dinesh and Ms. Sathmi, who went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and well cared for. They were extremely attentive, regularly checked on us, and ensured all our needs were met. What touched us most was their genuine concern when my wife experienced allergic rhinitis. They continuously checked on her well-being and made sure she was feeling better, which meant so much to us.
Their kindness and professionalism truly reflect the excellent standards of Cinnamon’s staff training and hospitality. We would genuinely love to revisit, especially to meet Mr. Dinesh and Ms. Sathmi again!
Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special and giving us beautiful memories to cherish.
