Value
A Regal Stay with Great Hospitality, but Room for Improvement
It was a pleasant experience staying at this hotel, with its regal and classic charm. The rooms are designed as small villas, and the pool is absolutely massive. We were warmly welcomed and looked after by a couple of very friendly staff members, especially Harshini, who was incredibly kind and served us some delicious cocktails. Her warm and friendly service really made us feel at home.
Overall, it was definitely a great stay, and we would be happy to return.
There were, however, a couple of disappointments during our stay. As part of our package, we were entitled to a 10-minute Ayurvedic head massage. We went to reception the night before to make a booking, but were told to come back after breakfast as there were plenty of appointments available. The next morning, when we returned after breakfast, we were informed that the Ayurvedic service was closed for the day. This was frustrating, especially since we had specifically asked about availability the previous evening.
We also wanted to use the recreational room for a game of pool, but when we arrived, we were told that a meeting was being held there. Given the size of the hotel and the availability of other spaces, it was disappointing to have a guest recreational area unavailable for this reason.
Despite these issues, we had an enjoyable stay overall. With better communication around included activities and better consideration of guest access to recreational facilities, the experience could be even better.
Delicious food and memorial holiday
We were first time in clup palm bay. Outstanding welcome service from Mr. Indika f/O department. Room is very clean and good conditions. Restaurant staffs are very friendly. Mr. Jude, Mr. Nihal & Hasitha were exceptional. Bar staffs also active. Many food variety were in the buffet. Food were taste and delices. Dessart corner was amazing. Speciali thanks to Chef Saman and Chef Ajith... For valuable amazing buffet.well done culinary team! Pool is nice and well maintained. Pool staffs are very helpful.

A Wonderful and Peaceful Stay in Sri Lanka
The resort is located in a peaceful and quiet area. We stayed here in August, which is a very quiet time of year. If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is a wonderful place to stay. The staff is absolutely phenomenal. They quickly understand who you are and what your wishes and needs are. They truly love children, and our 10-year-old son had an amazing time. Everyone is always willing to help wherever they can. The restaurant deserves a special thank you for the delicious food and excellent service. The service was very personal, and we always felt genuinely welcomed and looked after. A big thank you to the housekeeping team as well. Our room was cleaned perfectly every day, and we loved coming back to see the creative towel animals, beautifully decorated with flowers on our bed. It was such a lovely and thoughtful touch! Thank you to the reception team and the doorman for your kindness and warm welcome. You made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. And a special thank you to the gardeners, who work hard every day to keep everything so beautiful. The gardens and grounds are very well maintained and look absolutely lovely. Most excursions are between one and three hours away by car, but honestly, that is more than worth it. After a day of sightseeing, it feels wonderful to return to the peace and tranquillity of the resort. This was our first time in Sri Lanka, and we had a truly wonderful holiday. We would like to thank everyone at the resort for making our stay so special! One small tip: next to the hotel there is a little shop called S&S. It is a convenient shop, but keep an eye on the total when paying, as we noticed that the lady sometimes adds a few extra rupees to the bill. The shop on the other side of the hotel, just past the bend, is a little cheaper.

We had a wonderful dining experience during our stay at Club Palm Bay. The buffet foods were absolutely delicious with so many varieties.foods are really taste and quality combination. A special thank you to Chef Saman & Chef Ajith for the great effort and amazing foods. Also to Mr.Jude & Mr.Nihal and entire restaurant team for their warm,friendly and professional service.
