Beautiful beach day
Great hotel, right on the water. Lunch was excellent, brought to us at our villa. Excellent beach service from Sanjeeb the lifeguard.

Its a beautiful property. Staff was courteous. Akhilesh from pool bar was warm and served us so well. Sanjeeb the lifeguard took exceptional care to ensure we feel comfortable . We had an excellent stay!
Disappointing Stay – Far Below Five-Star Standards
Positive aspects
- Beautiful beachfront location.
- Beau Vallon is a great area.
- Attractive and well-maintained outdoor grounds.
Negative aspects
- The room was outdated, unclean, and had a terrible mould-like smell and musty basement odour.
- Despite booking our airport taxi 24 hours in advance, both at reception and via WhatsApp, it arrived 30 minutes late because the hotel had forgotten to arrange it. We then had to rush at the airport because the driver refused card payments, despite the hotel assuring us that paying by card was possible.
- Most staff members were friendly, but the service was chaotic, and we often felt that our concerns were not genuinely heard.
- On the beach, a staff member named Roni offered to take photos of us. After we accepted, he repeatedly approached us, handed us his business card, and pressured us to immediately write a positive review mentioning him by name. When we said we would do it later, he became impatient and questioned our decision. We had to explain that it was our last day in the Seychelles and we simply wanted to enjoy the beach. This behaviour felt pushy and unprofessional.
General comments
- Breakfast was acceptable, but in our opinion, it did not meet five-star standards.
Conclusion
We are glad we stayed for only one night. In our opinion, this hotel does not deserve a five-star rating, and the value for money is poor. We would not recommend it. It is a shame, as the property has potential.

We stayed there for one night after travelling the three islands- Mahe, Praslin and La Digue. We just wanted a relaxing day before getting back to India. We loved our stay there. Starting with help in parking our rented car, to a warm welcome at the reception by Neela to all the staff around made our stay comfortable and relaxing. We loved the breakfast spread. The beach was beautiful and there were staff to take care of all our needs. We created a wonderful story at Seychelles with our stay at STORY being a wonderful way to wind up.
