We stayed as a family of 4 in the Apartment. There were three rooms, large and spacious and decor, befitting the ethos of Seychelles. The best part was minimal furniture, inspired by nature. We could see the sea for miles and the beach was right there close. We woke up to the sound of waves lapping the shore. Among the staff members, we had great experience with Manish, Salima, Auroile. Chef Suman took care of our specific dietary requirements and made sure that our little one never went hungry. Food: Not a sumptuous spread but fresh and welcoming. As vegetarians, we did not have those many options, but still enjoyed the simple but well laid out meals. Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend this to anyone looking to be in the laps of nature.
I just want to thank the bliss hotel team, for making my boyfriend birthday so memorable, it started from reservation who was always in contact with me, making sure they got the right information to share with the team, at check in we were well received and explained about the facility at the reception by the STA trainee and 1 of your employee,I didn't get their name because all staff doesnt have name badge.( I just want to point out about policy where external guest is not allowed to visit, I think you should abolished this policy because other hotels we have been to they allowed visitors).. the room was so beautiful and the nature outside blended very well with the room, in the room it misses only 1 Television so it could be perfect, but the best part is the food and beverage team, the team was so friendly and so attentive, for both dinner service and breakfast, always checking if we were ok, and have small chat with us.. the nice table set that I have request was done, the food during dinner was so amazing we even receive a small cake after dinner, as for breakfast we were happy to see fresh local fruit on the buffet and fresh juices.. in general we have an amazing time, and we will surely come back. Thank you again,
We stayed 8 days in Bliss hotel Mahe It was an excellent experience! Everything was perfect! The hotel is located right on the beach, the view from our room was fantastic! The room was very nicely decorated and clean. The staff very friendly. The restaurant was right on the beach, with amazing food and nice cocktails! The beach is wonderful, very scenic with granite rocks! And a wonderful sunset!! Strongly recommend as a perfect place to stay in Mahe! Value for money as well!
Great location but tired hotel. Excellent food. Excellent service staff. BUT poor check-in experience with too many rules/immediate payment (despite deposit paid) and no friendly greeting. The carparking is limited due to several abandoned vehicles taking space. Unacceptable. At €300 a night it is mean that water bottles in room are not replaced and must be paid for. Lack of any water filling stations leads to a proliferation of plastic - a shame given the natural beauty of the Seychelles. Avoid rooms 14 & 15 opposite the restaurant. No voile or net curtains at the windows means either a dark room with curtains closed or exposure to diners…
We stayed at this hotel as part of our honeymoon and it was way above expectations. We stayed at Seaside Seaview Junior Suite (Room 2) and had the most beautiful view that we've ever experienced!
We also had direct access to the beach via a small staircase. The beach almost feels like private. At any point in time there were no more than 4 people in total.
The staff was exceptionally kind and attentive. We were warmly welcomed by the reception team and were getting personalised experience throughout!
The room we stayed in had a very unusual toilet "room". It was pretty much open air. Perhaps having a curtain on the glass door between the room and the toilet would be nice. Nonetheless, it was an interesting experience.
The place wouldn't be suitable for wheelchair users or prams as there are lots of stairs around the building. However, it didn't matter for our experience.
The food in the Rockpool restaurant was really good. Would definitely recommend eating here over the buffet. It was roughly the same price, but the food portions were large and the food was delicious for the price we paid.
The hotel's location was both amazing and bad, depends on how you look at it. It's far from activity locations, other restaurants, shops... However, it feels secluded and has astounding views... If you choose Bliss, perhaps renting a car would be a good idea.
Overall, if we were to ever re-visit Seychelles, I would definitely want to come back to Bliss hotel. It punches above its weight in terms of its star rating, it feels more like a 4* hotel.
