The Local Area
This elegant resort hotel has a spectacular location overlooking Wolmar Beach near Flic-en-Flac on the western side of the island. The white sand stands out in sharp contrast to the sparkling clear blue waters of the lagoon and the deeper blue of Le Morne Mountain in the background. Built in typical cool airy Mauritian style, the resort stands in beautifully landscaped gardens with thatch roofed open sided restaurant and bar overlooking the large pool and the beach beyond.

A very nice getaway
Stayed here for 11 nights in June/July 2026 (their winter). The resort is located at the end of a very long stretch of beach. The resort when you walk in is just magnificent. There is a stretch of beach which is like the majority all along having lots of coral on the sand and in the water due to the area being part of a coral reef. If you are going to venture in the sea I’d advise taking something like a pair of cheap is divingbtupe boots to wear. You could however, just stay by the pool which is a great asset. When bob the pool do watch out for the ever bubbly, ever attentive Ruddy who looks after your every need ensuring you have a great experience and you will. He’s a great character. In an evening the dinner is a different themed one from Asia, Mediterranean, Italy, Mauritius, India, BBQ, Fisherman each evening so you won’t get bored of eating the same thing. You could, we didn’t try the Al A Carte restaurant. My only criticism in an evening is that no matter even if all you drink is water, tea/coffee you have to pay for it but at breakfast it’s free! The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. I highly recommend a stay here.

Great base for exploring a truly beautiful island. Would strongly recommend.
