Villas Caroline is located in the village of Flic en Flac on the West coast of Mauritius on a land area of 3½ arpents. It has one of the most beautiful sandy beach of the island and is now well known as being one of the best hotel and restaurant.
The property is located 60 km from the SSR International Airport; 30 minutes drive to Port Louis and 20 km to Quatre Bornes and Curepipe, our main cities with shopping centers. The village of Flic en Flac is rapidly expanding and tourist shops, restaurants, beauty parlours, massage parlours, post office, etc are available.
Villas Caroline is well known for its relaxed, friendly atmosphere and among one of the best small hotel /restaurant on the island. Majestically posed on the edge of an immaculate beach, Villas Caroline offers to you a turquoise lagoon sheltered by the coral reefs.

Would go there again for a vacation
We stayed at a nice place. The food is excellent and well prepared. Rooms are just renovated. However having the closet in the bathroom is rather sad. Beach is very clean, staff extremely friendly. Mind you that is a reflection of the country. All people are friendly. They Use UK and European plugs. But they also have USB charger. The safe is too primative, with a key. Very difficult to access because of a poor choice off location and not even mounted so you can carry it away. You can snorkel and see amazing fish right at their beach. No need to book an excursion.

Disgustingly filthy catering staff
Would not stay here again even if you paid me. Very miserable rude staff at reception. Budget food was disgusting I wouldn’t even feed it to a dog. Chefs and cooks sneezing and coughing while they serve you the food. Birds flapping their wings all over the food also. Wish there was a no star even that would be to good for this toilet of a hotel.
Fabulous place for a magical wedding
We held our wedding directly on the beach at Villas Caroline, and it was the most perfect setting imaginable. Saying our vows with the soft, white sand underfoot, the turquoise ocean as our backdrop, and the Mauritian sunset lighting up the sky felt like a fairytale. The hotel's wedding coordination and hospitality team provided excellent service throughout our special day. Brigitte was amazing - going above and beyond and even fastening my wedding dress for me! They took care of the details with care, allowing us to relax and completely enjoy the moment.A Breathtaking Waterfront Setting for our special day. I want to tell everyone but don’t want it to loose its special charm of not being a machine like venue like some of the bigger resorts.
Villas Caroline is designed so that every room has a fab view with the eggshell-white sand and lagoon right to the doorstep. Waking up to the sight of the crystal-clear water every day was a joy. From the front-of-house staff to the dedicated chefs and restaurant waiters, the team genuinely go out of their way to ensure guests feel at home.
Dining at the main on-site restaurant, was brilliant. The themed evening buffets change nightly and the choice and quality were excellent.
The hotel in the evenings has a very distinct French vibe, catering primarily to French guests. While this brings a lovely, relaxed European flair to the resort, the music and evening entertainment might not suit everybody's preferences. But if like us you are happy to go with the flow then the animation team do a fab job.
Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel for an amazing stay without the 5 star price tag.

I had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. What stood out most was the staff. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and made me feel more like a valued guest than just another customer.
The service was attentive without being intrusive, and the team was always happy to help with any questions or requests. Overall, I felt very comfortable here and would gladly return in the future. I can definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and welcoming place to stay.
A gem on the West Coast
Villa Caroline was an absolutely fantastic choice and exceeded our expectations in every way. The staff were consistently friendly, professional, and incredibly efficient, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The late checkout was very much appreciated.
The location is perfect, right on the beautiful beach at Flic en Flac, with stunning ocean views and a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the free on-site parking was a great bonus.
The food deserves a special mention. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all outstanding, with an excellent variety and consistently high quality. Every meal was something to look forward to.
We wouldn't hesitate to stay at Villa Caroline again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing beachfront getaway in Mauritius. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable!
