Maradiva Villas Resort & Spa, member of "Leading Hotels of the World", is an exclusive haven of luxury spread over 27 scenic acres with 750m of pristine beach. The 65 villas with private pool, refurbished in 2016, feature Hermès wallpaper and amenities, a tranquil living and dining area, with the benefiy of butler service to ensure that every guest need is met.
They were inspired by colonial residences of the sugar cane owners. The main infinity pool overlooks the serene, turquoise waters of Tamarin Bay at Wolmar and brings that sense of intimacy that Maradiva Villas Resort & Spa inspires to its guests. A range of watersports facilities are also available at the boathouse.

Fantastic stay
Amazing villa, good privacy, fantastic food. Emma, Elodie and Wayne took our hearts especially but the others were lovely too Breakfast is half à la carte half buffet. If booked on half board you can eat in the à la carte Restaurants from the HB Menue. We especially loved Cassine for dinner and Cilantro. If you want a bigger choice there is a supplement. Private pool is heated which is great for winter period.

Amazing experience
We had our honeymoon vacation in the hotel, and couldn’t ask for more. Beautiful rooms, amazing pool and beach, great food! Wish we could stay longer!
The best resort
My husband and I stayed in the resort for 6 nights and the whole time we were treated like a king and queen. The customer service from our arrival, received by Mr Hervin (*excuse my spelling) to the moment we left the resort, was extraordinary. The pools (private and main) were heated which we enjoyed. Whenever we needed transport around Mauritius, the resort team arranged a taxi for us, which was so convenient. The resort is the best place to go to unwind and have privacy. Thank you to the Resort staff for their hospitality.
I was blown away by Maradiva!
I was blown away by Maradiva! I dont have a single point by which I was disappointed or expected more. The villa was large, clean, modern and luxurious. The whole resort was quiet and well looked after, gardens spectacular. The quality and choice of food was excellent. They offer an extensive list of fun activities with no additional charge. The gym is incredible, with both a cardio room and a strength room- each filled with new equipment from Technogym. I enjoyed the time spent at the sauna where the atmosphere allowed for complete relaxation. The resort location is perfect. It truly is paradise, having the beautiful blue sea at your doorstep. The cherry on the cake and what made the experience even more unforgettable...? The staff! Every single person working there is friendly, professional, shows genuine interest in the guests and makes every effort to made the guests feel welcome. Nothing is too much effort.
Every day that I walked through the resort, I felt extremely grateful to be in such a unique place. The challenge, moving forward, will be: not comparing and getting disappointed by future resorts/ hotels/ accommodations that I might stay at. Thank you Maradiva for the giving me the experience of a lifetime!
Maradiva – Beautiful Villa, but a Disappointing Experience
Our stay at Maradiva was rather underwhelming. The location was fine but nothing extraordinary, and the food was absolutely horrible, watery soup with one shrimp cut in small pieces, tasteless lamb cutlets. For a luxury five-star resort charging such premium prices, the quality of food was unacceptable and certainly not value for money. The only highlight of our stay was the beautiful private villa with its heated pool, which offered comfort and privacy. Unfortunately, the overall atmosphere was dull, monotonous and lacking in life. We expected a vibrant, relaxing and memorable luxury experience, but Maradiva failed to deliver.
Apart from the lovely private villa and heated pool, there was very little to appreciate. Definitely overpriced for the experience offered, especially considering the terrible food.
