- LUX Le Morne

The Lux Le Morne stands in splendid, serene isolation. Situated at the foot of the Morne Brabant mountain (a UNESCO world heritage site), this is a perfect Mauritius holiday location. The beautiful mountain peak isn't just an amazing sight; it shelters the hotel and maintains that wonderful sense of seclusion. Here, you can imagine yourself miles from anywhere, in your own private paradise – with exemplary facilities and food on hand, naturally.
The Lux Le Morne Hotel strikes the perfect balance. It's small enough to maintain that wonderfully exclusive feel. But its facilities are wide-ranging. This is a five star, boutique hotel set in magnificent grounds, with everything you could ever want to while away a week or two in absolute luxury.
Naturally, paradise comes with its own private beach: a 600 meter long, soft, sandy beach that leads out to the blue waters of the Indian Ocean. There is a choice of four swimming pools – you can get some exercise in the lap pool, take a leisurely dip in the garden pool, or splash around to your heart's content in the main hotel pool. And the wonderful infinity pool leads out to the ocean.
Anyone whose idea of heaven includes as much golf as they can cram into a week will be impressed by a choice of two world-class courses nearby. While back at the Lux Le Morne Hotel there is a fitness centre to limber up in, and a spa to relax in after laps around the pool or turn around the golf course. You can set your own relaxation programme, or opt to pamper in private if you prefer.
There's a mouth-watering array of dishes to tempt you – some local specialities, some fresh seafood (of course), and some Asian inspired flavours too. But it's safe to say that the Lux Le Morne Hotel caters for every taste.
When the time comes to head for bed, the Lux Le Morne Hotel has one more treat in store. Rooms are beautifully furnished in a traditional style. Polished wooden floors and simple furniture set the scene. Rooms are ensuite (with a beautiful marble bathroom) and feature a private dressing room, as well as ceiling fan, LCD TV, DVD, minibar, Wi-Fi internet and safe. Sea-facing suites are also available at a supplement.
Let the gentle sea breezes lull you to sleep every night at the Lux Le Morne Hotel and wake to another day in the luxurious seclusion of one of the world's most beautiful holiday hideaways.
Offering isolated luxury in the South West of the island, Lux Le Morne occupies a charming location at the foot of Morne Brabant mountain, a UNESCO world heritage site. This boutique hotel offers incredible facilities including a 600m long sandy beach and sparkling lagoon, 4 swimming pools and well equipped Spa while 2 world class golf courses are just minutes away.
Very pleasant impressions from the hotel. Employee Hussein was extremely friendly and tried to help with any issue. The conditions are excellent for relaxing holidays
Thank you, Ketut, for the best massage at LUX Spa, Le Morne!
I arrived after a long flight feeling sore, stiff, and in pain all over. Ketut was incredibly intuitive and immediately identified the areas that needed the most attention. Her skill, care, and healing touch made such a difference.
She is such a kind soul and a truly amazing person. She made me feel completely relaxed, which allowed me to enjoy the most restful and relaxing holiday.
The massage was so amazing that I booked a second treatment for myself and also arranged massages for my family. We all had a wonderful experience.
Thank you so much, Ketut. I left feeling completely healed. 🙏✨
We came with expectations due to the high rating of Lux le morne and we were even more impressed about this magnificent place . With the must beautiful sunsets and amazing staff . I’d like to particularly note Raghoo the chef that had been amazing in providing us magnificent meals that he made personally during to our kosher food restrictions. This place is the best place to chill and relax with great facilities (gym ,spa etc.. ) and I would recommend it to everyone who can afford it.
A trully 5 star hotel with exceptional landscape that takes care of its guest.
We spent the first week of our honeymoon here in the ocean suite which was a lovely space. The location is great for those wanting to switch off and relax by the beach or explore the nearby La Morne mountain.
Unfortunately the experience was tainted by the attitudes of some staff members who quite simply treated us like an inconvenience particularly on arrival and at the beach most days. This is not something we’d expect from a hotel of this calibre and price bracket.
The stray cats that frequent the dining spaces became a real issue with instances of the cats jumping on tables and stealing food which the staff seemed to brush off.
Front of house Jason was a delight and was a welcome change from most of the staff that either didn’t acknowledge us when walking around the resort or if they did, they were seeking a great review for doing the bare minimum.
Lots of potential in this hotel but service and staff training would need to be improved significantly.
