LUX Le Morne

This was our second visit to LUX* Le Morne, and somehow we love it even more than we did the first time. The setting is simply breathtaking, but what truly makes this hotel exceptional is its people. The resort is beautiful, the beach is stunning, the food is excellent, and the Mauritian culture shines through everywhere. However, it is the incredible staff who transform a wonderful holiday into an unforgettable one. A special thank you to Anikat at the bar, who always made us feel so welcome as we enjoyed our daily sundowner. Thanks also to the ever-reliable Eulie, Louanne and Meghan, and of course the bar manager in the hat whose name, regrettably, I cannot remember. Your warmth, service and constant smiles made every visit a pleasure. At the Beach Restaurant, Bridget and Vijay were attentive, personable and genuinely lovely people who consistently went above and beyond to make every meal memorable. At The Kitchen, we were fortunate enough to be looked after by the incredible Alain, who has to be one of the best restaurant service managers I have ever encountered anywhere in the world. His professionalism, warmth and attention to detail (and memory) are remarkable. A big thank you also to his team, particularly Joshua and Anoushka. Apologies to those whose names I cannot remember, but your efforts certainly did not go unnoticed. The beach team deserves special recognition as well. Led brilliantly by Hans, with fantastic support from Aldo, Brandon and the gentleman in the baseball cap whose name escapes me, they were always cheerful, dependable and eager to help constantly checking if we were comfortable and making us cocktails and delivering fresh coconuts regularly. Consistent first class service - with a huge smile! What struck us most was that many of these wonderful people remembered us from our first visit and, even more importantly, are still there. That says a lot about both the hotel and the environment it creates for its staff. Happy, valued employees create exceptional guest experiences, and that is evident throughout the resort. We would also like to thank Isabelle, who is constantly visible, engaging with guests and ensuring that every stay is as perfect as possible. The food throughout the resort was excellent, so congratulations to the talented catering team, as well as the room service staff, who consistently delivered outstanding service. In many ways, this review says it all. The combination of world-class service, a spectacular location, outstanding food, and the warmth and vibrancy of the Mauritian people creates a truly luxurious and memorable experience. Thank you to everyone at LUX* Le Morne for another unforgettable stay. We will most definitely be back. Highly recommended, not just for the hotel itself, but for the incredible people who make it so special and are now our friends!

We visited for a honeymoon trip. The location of the hotel was excellent - its located at the amazing beach and on the other side - its Le Morne Brabant unique mountain. As we had a honeymoon package, we received extra perks - summer rolls cooking class with The East Chef and coctail making class with Mr Anikek, where he taught us how to make a coctail, pick proportions of the ingredients, Rooms were spacious, nicely furnished. Food is perhaps a bit better at the restaurants, but the buffet also has to offer a lot of various options.

We had such a great time at the Summer Rolls cooking class at Lux Le Morne! Chef Suksan Supprasert made the whole experience so much fun. You can really feel how passionate he is about cooking, and his positive energy made the class even more enjoyable.
