Beautiful Property, But Butler Service Was A Big Miss.
We had a comfortable stay at the St Regis Mauritius.
Unfortunately, the butler service was a big miss. The signature St Regis butler is supposed to be the highlight, but ours forgot many of our requests and we had to remind him multiple times for the same thing. Simple things were missed or delayed, and there was zero proactivity from our butler.
For a luxury hotel at this price, you don't expect to chase your butler. It felt like we were managing him, not being looked after by him. Gorgeous hotel, but the butler service really needs improvement and better attention to detail.
Superb Week - exceeded expectations!
We had a whole week at the St Regis Le Morne and it was wonderful start to finish. Too many special moments to list here but a special thank you for the late check out for our late night flight! And an extra special thank you to Ashwyna and the Chef and the team at the Indian restaurant for going above and beyond creating a very special farewell when checking out with our favourite dish of the whole week - a deliciously innovative paneer with coriander pesto and crunchy noodles - simply superb!

Beautiful place to visit
My wife and I just spent time here for our honeymoon and this resort did not disappoint. The service was excellent, the beach was beautiful, the food was good, and the hotel was gorgeous. We laid on the beach nearly everyday and would get up to enjoy some of their free activities like a snorkel trip or a water ski experience. Romain was our primary server everyday at the beach and I will tell you not a single drink went empty. He went above and beyond, kept us well fed and hydrated and had such great attitude! He made our experience 10x better each day! I would totally recommend coming here for a couples getaway

Exceptional hotel.
Exceptional hotel. Our room was superb with direct beech access and a pool sheltered from SE tradewind. The staff are very attentive (but for us offering to carry our bowls of cereal to the table is a bit OTT). If you come hear you will be pampered so be prepared if your used to a more DIY experience like we are 😂. We had two butlers who were very helpful - taking care of dinner reservations etc. Although the complex is quite large, the landscaped gardens and access points somehow make each suite feel secluded. The beach directly in front had ample sheltered sunbeds and despite the number of visitors it never felt busy. On 3-4 days a week the hotel provide free fresh fruit skewers and fresh coconut (probably from the garden) on the beach .... a lovely and welcome touch on a hot day. We had exceptional food in all of the restaurants we visited. Our experience in the Boathouse was particularly memorable; eating great food whilst watching a beautiful sunset and fruit bats foraging in the trees. The breakfast is incredible. Everything prepared in small volumes but with ample turnaround which means everything was totally fresh. The choice is endless catering for Asian, Far East, Mediterranean, French and British tastes. The ladies on the omelette / eggs bay were great fun. I had my omelette with smoked Marlin and some dim sum with sesame oil every morning 😋. The beach bar is very relaxing and comfortable. The pool area and surrounding water features are stunning. Complementary snorkeling trips etc were a nice surprise. There was only one gripe (as to be expected in a 5* hotel) the drinks prices were on the hefty side. However, we'd been on Safari the previous week where drinks were very reasonable, so cutting down on the wine intake at the St Regis was probably not a bad idea 🫣.

I’ve been in 2 locations in the island, couldn’t find better location than this , crystals water purity clean beaches and warn waters , atmosphere is amazing for people looking for relaxation or water activity you just arrived to the perfect place , rooms and beach views is stunning , the money spent worth every penny , they clean your place twice a day besides on request no nice ever noticed here can’t say no more about the service how amazing it’s, overall this place is a heaven and going to be my only place to stay in Mauruitis for every visit,
Special thanks to Mr. Maxim and Ms. Zahraa for the warm welcoming upon arrival and explaining the resort the way it should to be , and their helping in every single thing we need the whole time we spent in here .
