Overall relaxing break
The Tamassa resort in Bel Ombre Mauritius. We enjoyed a great 10 days at Tamassa. The standard of the service was outstanding, our only minor issue was it sometimes took a little while to be served drinks at all meals including a tea or coffee at breakfast. The food was varied enough to not be concerned about what was on offer to eat. The standard in the room we had were minor issues such as varnish on a door not reaching the ground. The spa was very good and a special mention for Roshni who was able to get my poor body riddled with arthritis moving with ease and much reduced pain. I had a facial, lymph massage and the special tanaka massage all of which were superb and delivered with care and attention to my aches and pains. The music during the day around the main pool was too loud at times with a bass level set too loud and the choice of music not always the best for relaxing. This was particularly the case at weekends that appeared to cater for more locals. Overall however a very relaxing 10 days.
Friendly staff,maintenance could be better
Hospitality was good.Rahul from the beach reastuarant took exceptional care of us on our last night. Meerashna was also super great.Friendly staff,however some of our rooms had plugs that did not work and my kettle was out of order.It took several repeat requests to have this fixed.I suspect generally there is miscommunication during shift handover which causes requests to not filter down to the right people hence the repeated requests.Otherwise we enjoyed our time throughout.

The hospitality staff is great, Vineet at the bar took care of my friends and I during our stay. Mirashna gave us an exceptional service at the beach restaurant. Made our stay wonderful!

We came back from Tamassa with such a beautiful experience, and a huge part of that was the food and the amazing people who looked after us.
A very special thank you to Chef Jean Edinho, who was simply phenomenal from beginning to end. As a vegan family, we sometimes wonder how much choice we will have when staying at a hotel, but at Tamassa it was completely different. We were truly pampered.
Vegan croissants, pains au chocolat, custard feuilletés, vanilla maspin, napolitaines, falafel wraps, pizza, indian food, vegan yoghurt, delicious pastries and desserts, and a lovely vegan chocolate cake for our daughter’s birthday… the variety was incredible and everything was absolutely delicious.
What really stood out was the care Chef Jean put into everything. We never felt limited because we were vegan. We had variety, choice and, most importantly, a real food experience throughout our stay. You could genuinely feel the effort and passion behind what was prepared for us.
Chef Jean, we cannot thank you enough. You made our stay and our daughter’s birthday even more special, and we truly appreciate everything you did for our family. ❤️
And it wasn’t only the food. Ayush and the whole Tamassa team were amazing, so friendly, cool, welcoming and always ready to help. The warmth of the people really added to the whole experience and made us feel so comfortable like always.
We went to Tamassa hoping for a lovely family break and came back with beautiful memories and what genuinely felt like a little vegan paradise. 🌱

Birthday celebration
My favourite hotel so far. Spent several day packages there and also stayed for 1 night. Today we celebrated my hubby 's birthday . Food was awesome, we enjoyed a variety of mocktails & cocktails and staff was welcoming . Highly recommended!
