Amazing hotel, outstanding staff
We had an amazing stay at the Outrigger. Location, facilities and food were excellent. The staff really made our holiday as they went above and beyond. Special mention has to go to Dinson for his outstanding professionalism. He really is a credit and asset to the hotel. Damini and the rest of the Voyager Club team were also wonderful. William at reception always had a smile and asked about our stay whenever we saw him. Sam in the main restaurant is obviously a great mentor and role model to the younger staff. And we enjoyed our evenings in the bar thanks to Geo‘s amazing knowledge of cocktails. All of the above staff and many others deserve recognition as they made our holiday truly memorable. Beautiful place that we hope to visit again one day.

Outrigger Resort experience
I am Surya, and I stayed along with my wife for 6 nights at Outrigger Resort in Mauritius.
From the very beginning, Arvesh, the Front Office Manager, stood out as truly exceptional. He is not only a great guy but someone who goes above and beyond to ensure guests feel comfortable and valued. His professionalism, warmth, and genuine care made a huge difference to our stay, and he truly embodies the very best of hospitality.
The resort itself is extremely good for relaxation, the atmosphere is calm and refreshing, and the rooms are spacious, beautifully maintained, and offered us a stunning ocean view that made our mornings and evenings unforgettable. It was the perfect setting to unwind and enjoy the beauty of Mauritius.
The team across the resort was fantastic, Sam, Eswar, and Vaibhavi from Mercado, along with Geo from Le Bleu restaurant, were all friendly and attentive, adding to the welcoming atmosphere.
A special mention also goes to Sheron at the Boat Activities area, who provided us with an excellent kayaking experience that was both fun and memorable.
Thanks to the dedication and kindness of the staff, especially Arvesh, and the relaxing environment of the resort with its ocean-view rooms, our 6-night stay was nothing short of wonderful. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing stay at Outrigger Resort, and what truly made our experience unforgettable was Sam, the restaurant manager. He is genuinely one of the kindest people we’ve ever met. We’ve traveled to many places, but we’ve honestly never experienced hospitality like his before. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, cared for, and at home. His warmth, professionalism, and attention to every little detail made our trip so much more special. Sam is truly the heart of the resort.
The overall experience was wonderful, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The only area that could be improved is the rooms—they could be a bit more modern and better maintained.
Overall, we had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend Outrigger Resort. A special thank you to Sam for making our stay so memorable. He is a true gem, and we hope to visit again soon!
excellent staff and service
Our son was recently visiting us from university, and we decided to spend some time at the Outrigger Mauritius Beach Resort, a place we have enjoyed many times over the years. We have visited both on day packages and for longer stays, and each visit reminds us why we keep returning.
What truly sets this resort apart is the exceptional level of personal service. The staff always remember us and greet us by name, making us feel genuinely valued and welcome.
Over time, we have become acquainted with Mr Jarvin Basama, the Duty Manager, and have started making our bookings directly through him. Jarvin consistently goes above and beyond to ensure our stays are memorable. He has arranged special rooms for us, personally welcomed us on arrival, and has even surprised us with room upgrades. During our most recent stay, we received a fantastic upgrade with a spectacular sea view Villa, making the experience even more special.
A special thank you also to Mr Sam, the Evening Restaurant Manager, Mr Rungu, and Miss Urvashi from the breakfast buffet team. Their professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail contributed greatly to another wonderful stay.
The entire team at Outrigger truly takes exceptional care of their guests. We highly recommend the resort and will definitely be returning.
