Bad experience at the Outrigger Hotel.
We booked a 2 nights stay at the hotel to celebrate my twin daughters birthday. Nice hotel and nice rooms. However the welcome at reception was lukewarm. The dishes were great but the main restaurant plates, glasses and bowls were dirty, which spoiled the supposedly 5 stars standard. Unfortunately, despite raising our concern about cleanliness with the F&B manager, there was no visual improvement over the rest of our stay! The whole family got stomach upset post our stay! Most of the restaurant staff were non locals and some could not even understand English, which made communication quite a hassle. Hats off to Parvesh, the pastry Chef who made two delicious cakes for the kids. Thanks to Urvashi who offered lunch (we booked half board) to us to make up for the low standard of hygiene. The hotel desperately needs maintenance; poor lighting in the room and pathways, most of the TV channels were not playing, falling coconut hazards (we had to be very cautious with the kids during strolls!). We are overall quite disappointed with the Outrigger experience. Our kids even said "They would prefer to go to school, rather than going back to this hotel again!"

Experience at Club House
Our overall experience at the property was unfortunately not as good as we had hoped, particularly when it came to housekeeping, front office interactions, and the service at the main restaurant. However, Dinson at the Club House truly turned the experience around for us. His warm hospitality, personalised attention, and genuine willingness to make us feel comfortable stood out. He took the time to understand what we needed and ensured that every interaction felt thoughtful and personal. His friendly attitude and attention to detail made our time at the Club House genuinely enjoyable. If I had to rate the Club House experience specifically, it would be a 5/5, and Dinson deserves a huge part of the credit for that. His hospitality is a wonderful example of how personalised service and genuine care can make such a difference to a guest’s experience. Thank you, Dinson, for making our time at the Club House truly special!
