Le Suffren Hotel and Marina

My second stay at Le Suffren and just as special as the first. The location was perfect for the conferences I was attending, with the ferry across to Caudan always an enjoyable experience. Of particular note on this visit was the service provided by Ms Yukta. From her initial greetings while checking-in, to the recommendations regarding where to catch the World Cup final, she provided outstanding service. In addition, we had some continuous chances to our itinerary in Mauritius and onward travel, initially seeming that we would be staying for an extra night, followed by a last minute change and early morning check-out. Ms Yukta was amazing throughout, providing reassurance that our stay at Le Suffren would be tailored to our itinerary and taking that issue off our minds. Thank you, your assistance was much appreciated.

I'm still staying at Le Suffren as I write this, but I couldn't wait until checkout to leave this review.

A huge thank you to Yukta, Geraldine, Deepshikha and Gilles at the front desk. They have genuinely been the highlight of our stay. Every time we've needed anything, they've welcomed us with a smile and have always found a way to help. Nothing has ever felt like too much trouble.

We came with a group, which naturally meant quite a few requests, but they handled everything with so much patience, kindness and professionalism. It's one thing to do your job well, but it's another to make guests feel genuinely cared for and that's exactly what they've done.

People often remember hotels for the rooms or the location, but we'll remember Le Suffren because of the people, especially Yukta and Geraldine. They are the kind of staff who make you want to come back.

I really hope the management knows what a wonderful team they have. Employees like these are hard to find, and they truly deserve to be recognised.
