Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

We had a wonderful stay at Wonders Beach Boutique Hotel. It was peaceful, quiet and exactly what we needed to disconnect and relax.
The Junior Suite was comfortable, the food was delicious, and the overall atmosphere was excellent.
A special thank you to Mr Shakti for taking such good care of us during dinner. Your service was professional and much appreciated. Also, a big thank you to Lucia for your warm smile and for kindly offering us the second menu, which made our dining experience even better.
Just two small suggestions for improvement:
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Wonders Beach Boutique Hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. Thank you to the whole team!
3/5 – Cozy boutique hotel with a nice atmosphere, but room for improvement
My partner and I stayed at Wonders Beach Boutique Hotel for one night on a half-board basis. Overall, our experience was average—nothing particularly disappointing, but nothing that truly stood out either. It's a small boutique hotel, which was exactly what we expected, and it has a cozy, intimate atmosphere that would suit couples looking for a quiet getaway.
Parking is somewhat limited, although we managed to get a space directly in front of the hotel. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with refreshments, check-in was smooth and efficient, and a staff member kindly assisted us with our luggage.
We stayed in the Suite, which was spacious, clean, and well maintained. It also had a small, cozy balcony. Although the room is advertised as having a sea view, our view was partially obstructed by other buildings within the hotel, so don't expect an uninterrupted ocean panorama.
One thing we found disappointing was the bathroom. There was no bidet spray, which many travellers in Mauritius may appreciate having. More importantly, the shower's water temperature kept fluctuating between hot and cold, making it difficult to enjoy a comfortable shower.
The hotel itself is well kept, tidy, and aesthetically pleasing. The pool area is definitely one of its highlights, overlooking the sea and offering a lovely spot to relax while watching the sunset. The beachfront is quite rocky, so it's not ideal for swimming, but it makes for some beautiful photos if you're looking for Instagram-worthy scenery.
For dinner, the half-board menu wasn't particularly appealing to us, so we chose from the à la carte menu instead. We'd like to give special thanks to Mr. Shakti, who provided excellent service throughout the evening. He patiently guided us through the menu and kindly helped us move to another table after we noticed many tiny flying insects around our first table. A few insects were still present at the second table, but considering the beachfront location, this seemed more like a natural occurrence than something within the hotel's control.
As for the food, the cheesy garlic bread was excellent, while the crispy calamari was slightly chewy. For the main course, we ordered the Alfredo pasta and butter chicken. The pasta lacked seasoning and felt rather bland, while the butter chicken didn't taste particularly authentic despite the restaurant promoting Indian cuisine. Dessert was a molten lava cake with vanilla ice cream. Although the cake could have been served warmer to achieve the classic molten centre, it was enjoyable overall.
Breakfast the following morning was much better. The English breakfast buffet offered a good variety, including fresh fruits, pancakes, omelettes, cereals, pastries, and other breakfast favourites. We were happy with the selection and quality.
Would I recommend this hotel? Yes—I think it's worth trying, especially if you're a couple looking for a cozy and romantic boutique hotel with a beautiful setting and plenty of photo opportunities. That said, I do feel it is slightly overpriced for the overall experience. If the Garden Villa with Private Pool is available, I would recommend choosing that over the Suite, as it appears to offer a more unique experience.
Overall, this is a charming little hotel with friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. With a few improvements to the room facilities and some refinement to the food, it could easily offer a much better value-for-money experience.
