Everything is fine, advisory
The hotel is good and the staff working here was very friendly. Nothing was wrong with this hotel. To reach the hotel without taxi will be difficult. There are bikes that you can use for free but right outside the hotel there are dogs that are following your bike and sometimes may attack you. So be careful with the street dogs. Hotel rooms are very clean. They clean every day. The food was delicious. Every evening there is a dance show which is also nice. Some of them were boring for us but mostly it is ok. Mostly Indian tourists are in this hotel. The beach is ok but the sea wasn't so good. You need sea-shoe. The bottom of the sea is not sand. It has a different thing. It is like muddy. I don't know I didn't like the sea much here. The color of the sea is also strange. Not a typical blue. But the sea is definitely clean. In summary, the hotel was good and I advise.

Very good hotel
Very nice hotel with exceptional customer services. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool is a good size and very clean. They do need to get the bikes fixed and please reduce the amount of plastic you use.

End of June 2019 escape
Stayed two nights. Clean room. However, hotel needs quite some renovation as regards the room decor.Food was okay though breakfast was limited. Yummy curries for dinner. Some staff were friendly. I guess things must be have been improved by now.

Great place to relax and enjoy the sea
We had a great time at Seaview Calodyne and in Mauritius as a whole.
There were some issues with wifi signal strength in our apartment, but it was fine at the sun loungers by the beach and in the Reception area.
On arrival we had no hot water, but that was resolved during the day.
Food variety and quality was very good as was the list of drinks in the all inclusive card. It is easy to put on weight if one is not careful.
The beach is small, but the sea is safe and waist deep for quite a long distance with no big waves. Good conditions for novices practising kayak, surf etc
The place is rural with lots of vegetation all around. Be woken up by birds singing. Spend time guessing which lizards will be the next to succeed on its attack. The bad TV reception does not matter with many alternative non-electronic entertainment available.
The staff in all areas were very welcoming and reactive to our requests. Our thanks to all of them. Some that we got to know well - Naveen Purmah, Urmilla Loll, Imtiaz, Sweta, Alexander, Suraj, Deepak, Lanedo, Akash, Ryan, Youin, Prithvi Ram, Yani. Apologies to those whose names we missed.

We spent 7 days in the beginning of March
The resort was acceptable and the food was ok..I was surprised that i was told we would have to pay for ice cream ( We were on full board) Ensure that you have enough mosquito repellent with you. The staff were really good and go beyond the normal call of duty. Nadia was excellent. She was our tour guide on a local bus trip tour which she arranged .(She did not expect any payment- obviously we insisted) She also went with us on the local municipal buses which is so much cheaper than taxis and also a lovely experience.
