Paradise - with the best staff ever.
Where do I start with this fabulous hotel.
The staff are unbelievable, with nothing to much trouble. Every single one was charming and helpful, but I have to add names of some outstanding ones.
Ramesh, ever helpful. Tslory, Mr happy.
Koushal, best Cocktails. Sachin, best barman. Rishi, helpful, Chetan, charming, all the guys on the beach were FABULOUS, especially Reedo, and his sunglasses cleaning, and "Close your eyes and make a wish" face spray.
The food was stunning - not a bad meal anywhere, but have to big up the Bodrum Turkish restaurant. Super service, fab food and beautiful setting.
The chef is amazing, and also very friendly and accommodating.
Water sports were all included and well stocked. No trouble - getting anything.
Not part of the hotel, but a wooden boat moored there took us on a fabulous trip snorkeling and then to a barbecue on an Island with nobody else there. Ask the beach guys for C!aptain Tom, he will cook you a great lunch of Lobster and Langoustin, chicken etc.
Rooms were spotless, well stocked minibar, unlimited towels - just everything you could need.
The beach is stunning, and so calm, we just couldn't fault the place.
We will be back to the LUX.
##One word of warning, nothing to do will the hotel, but a taxi driver from there took on a trip and stopped at a shop supposedly a Paul Smith outlet in Arsenal We knew it wasn't, but my husband wanted a shirt and swim trunks so we agreed a price. They were forceful and confusing, and I had doubts about buying, rightly so as when we got back to the hotel we realised we were overcharged. We went back with another driver who tried to get a refund - we failed but did get more goods "as a gesture of goodwill" - NOT.!!! Avoid this Shop like the plague. They are liars and cheats, and were the only sour note on our wonderful two week holiday.

The KINDEST team most incredible trip
WOW, what an incredible 10 days for our honeymoon! We’ve had the most amazing time and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The staff were wonderful, exceptionally kind and genuinely went above and beyond to make our trip so special.
My husband and I did the all inclusive honeymoon package and had the most incredible stay! We loved all the water sports available daily, from paddleboarding and snorkelling to water skiing and kayaking. The special honeymoon touches made our stay even more memorable, including the cocktail-making class with Kabish, dinner by the pool, and the lovely surprise of canapés and champagne in our room.
A special shoutout to a few members of the team who were truly exceptional. They were so friendly, took the time to get to know us and made us feel so welcome throughout our stay. It’s those personal touches that really made our trip unforgettable.
The boys on the beach – Viresh and Liam just so lovely and friendly and always happy to get us a drink or towel. Both the absolute kindest people

A real five star hotel that goes the extra mile
This is the first time in a while that a hotel has provided a true five star experience. The food, staff, rooms, location and facilities were truly exceptional. We were also given some lovely extras as we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. Thank you to everyone that made it so special.

Another fantastic 10 day stay @ Lux GG.
It’s a truly beautiful location right on the northern tip of Mauritius which always seems to enjoy the best weather.
Without question the beach is the heart of this resort, beautiful and outstandingly managed by Reedoo and his team, with everything done for you before you ever need to ask - towels always fresh and drinks always plentiful and cold! When the beach is right it has the biggest impact on the whole resort and Reedoo works tirelessly to keep everything running efficiently and keep everyone in holidays happy vibes.
The big change we have noticed is that the food and drink, which has always been great, has stepped on again which is brilliant – big shout out to Jason and the chefs Bilal @ Bodrum Blue and Pedro @ Inti for improving and increasing the menus.
There’re are still too many asterisks (not included in all inclusive) but the wine list now includes an excellent Sth African Sauvignon (De Grendel) which in UK is sold in Waitrose for £12 as part of their top tier No1 range – how good is that! Service was excellent as usual – Palm Court breakfast as fresh and plentiful as ever and thanks to Ashwan and Ricardo for looking after us here and at the Creole Smokehouse for lunches and dinner.
Bodrum Blue is our most visited restaurant – Durgesh and Purgun have the set up and service absolutely purring and amazing presentation from Bilal and his chefs.
Beach Rouge as good as ever and we were always well looked after by Akshay and his team.
The dining highlight though is Inti. The bar and terrace there are really lovely and Kevish makes absolutely the best cocktails …. maybe anywhere!! As for the restaurant, perfectly run by Yasser et al, if it were possible for a Mauritian restaurant to have a Michelin star it would, Pedro’s innovative and exciting menu is an absolute treat and if you go on a Monday you have the added bonus of Freddy’s guitar and singing – the best entertainment in the resort. Thank you all for another memorable stay.
