What a heavenly place and the most precious staff. Too many names to mention but Veena and Sepaul(?) in the restaurant, and Manoj on the beach particularly stood out. Loved the name badges along with time served (hadn't always got my glasses on to read!). I've never known this level of service across the team. They all went out of their way to please and make you feel totally looked after. Literally your wish was their command. A lovely touch was champagne for breakfast which Veena encouraged us to have on our last two days, so spoiling! And what a view over the sand & beach - they ended up placing us right near the wall, knowing we loved it.... And the food was truly phenomenal. We also loved the sunbeds that we eventually got on the water's edge, once the staff appreciated that's where we'd like to be... The facilities went down so well too - the gym, the tennis, waterskiing, sailing... And we loved our time with Tibo of Tibo-Mona boats heading to the island & mangroves. One of my sons arranged to also go diving. We had booked this holiday through Susie Freeman Travel which meant that we were looked after at every level. They gave us all sorts of helpful info regarding what to expect out in Mauritius including suggestions for eating out etc. Our flight was delayed on our return but SFT’s local agent dealt with all logistics and the hotel extended one of our rooms for the day so that we had a base. We were so well looked after! All in all it really was a magnificent & truly mellow time, and some much needed mental rest.
We stayed at the Royal Palm to celebrate my wife's birthday, and it was simply unforgettable. From the moment I made the reservation, Nik from Guest Relations contacted me and took care of every detail, from arranging flowers to organizing our dinners. He even surprised us with a complimentary room upgrade, which made our stay even more special.
Our arrival was exceptional. Doloresse welcomed us at the gate with such genuine warmth that my wife wanted to get out of the car and give her a hug! At the entrance, Jean-Pierre and his colleagues greeted us with a beautiful bouquet of flowers for my wife, took care of our luggage and car, and welcomed us with a glass of champagne. It was the warmest welcome we have ever received at any hotel.
Our room was immaculate, luxurious, and beautifully prepared. The children were thrilled to receive their own gifts, which was a lovely touch. We dined at Asiya and La Goélette, and both restaurants served outstanding food. The Sunday breakfast at La Goélette was one of the best we've ever had.
We have stayed at many luxury hotels across Mauritius, but the Royal Palm has now become our absolute favourite. The attention to detail, genuine hospitality, and outstanding service from every member of the team made this a truly unforgettable family experience. Thank you to everyone who made my wife's birthday so special—we can't wait to return!
Easily the best hotel resort we have ever stayed at. The service was incredible with everyone being so helpful, caring and friendly. The resort itself was incredibly luxurious. We loved being able to leave the loud hussle and bustle of Grand Baie to return to the peaceful elegance of Royal Palm.
We spent the first half of our honeymoon at Lux Le Morne through a recommendation however, we wished we stayed at Royal Palm instead as Royal Palm is leagues above Lux and anywhere we have stayed.
We'll be back!
One off the best, ore the best hotel I have been to. You will be taken care of in any possible way. Lovely food with a wide range of flavors. Decorative design and small features every wear. But for us the best was all the people that work there. The dedication to service and all ways with a smile. 10/10 worth the cost.
This great and aristocratic hotel is located in quite calm lagoon, covered from wind. First part of journey we have been in windy and umstable Flic-en-Flac, so here we got a paradise. Restaurant deserves Michelin star, and personel is so cute and elegant that you try to fit their style. Especially I want to remark Kareena, she is amaizing. Cleaning of room is twicely per day, and thats cool. Water activities are included, so when you here - you could attend kayaking, glass bottom boat, windsurfing, pedalo, water ski etc every day. Its highest level hotel and you could see that in small details - my wife was gifted with flowers at check in; every evening small candies; every day fresh fruits to the room; some basic cosmetics on the beach is presented; warm pools; and even sand on the beach is stamped... I was really positively surprised with quality of service and atitude to clients here... wish all the best to Royal Palm. Sincirely yours, Ukrainian family Odosii😉
