It’s hard to put into words…
We stayed at Paradise Cove back in April for our Wedding and start of our Honeymoon and it’s safe to say it was everything, EVERYTHING, we wanted it to be! We’d never visited Mauritius let alone Paradise Cove so to get married here was a huge risk but a risk that paid off. We had the most incredible visit, but our wedding day itself was perfect. Lolita and Kacey were there every step of the way, organising everything, never rushing us but always making sure everything was done in enough time. Lolita was unbelievably accommodating and nothing we asked for was too much – we asked for quite a few quotes/changes to things right up until the day before the wedding and she honestly couldn’t have been less phased! I also had a nail disaster where I chipped my wedding finger french nail the day before our wedding (every girl’s worst nightmare!!!!) and she got me booked straight into the spa to have it fixed. The build-up and the day honestly couldn’t have gone smoother and we are so, so grateful for how our day turned out. The stay itself was also perfection, the staff, the food, the location, the décor, the cocktails!! I could go on and on, but I will just leave a few of my highlights:
- Sundowner at the Peninsula
- Dinner at XO
- The daily flower displays!
- Breakfast at The Cove the morning after our wedding
- The general attentiveness of the staff, especially with drinks service around the pool(s)
- The chicken/pineapple salad starter at Peninsula (I’m still dreaming of this now!)
- Our couples massage at the spa
- The buffet selection and quality of food!
- The gym, well equipped and well air-conditioned!
- The entertainment – it’s not like usual hotel entertainment, it’s classy and engaging but not in your face.
We would recommend this hotel time and time again; we are already talking about coming back and are hopeful that we will in the not-so-distant future… This is a very short review for an unforgettable hotel because honestly, it’s hard to put into words… You just need to experience it for yourself… See you soon Paradise Cove, you truly are a little piece of paradise.
Fantastic, but could be better.
This is an incredible looking hotel. We were here as part of our honeymoon.
The location, the setting, absolutely beautiful. And the atmosphere amongst the customers is amazing, with everyone being very friendly towards each other.
But scratch the surface, and there are some things that you notice quite quickly that could be improved quite easily, which other hotels at this price point do very well.
Their sustainability and caring for the environment is excellent. Not seen another hotel quite like it on this front.
It's extremely clean, and staff are friendly. However, several times we were waiting 10-15 mins to be served for a drink. Certainly wasn't quick.
And for all inclusive, you don't get any type of snacks in your room. There's some nuts in the mini fridge, but cheekily they want to charge you extra for that. That's on top of your £800+ a night room. Other hotels, such as LUX, provide you with plenty of snacks, including wine, beer and spirits in your room. Here you get 2 beers in your mini fridge. The rest is soft drinks, which again is poor.
And finally the storage space. The rooms look incredible. However theres elements that are just impractical. There's a desk and a chair for writing (?!) but nowhere to properly store your suitcases or your clothes. The clothes rail has 6 hangers on and is tiny. So unless you've packed with pretty much just your carry on, this will make your room untidy and we ended up living out of our suitcases for the 3 nights we were there.
I'd absolutely love to go back, but these issues would make me want to try other hotels on the island first before going back.

This place is absolutely paradise !
well what can I say, this hotel is not just paradise by name, it truly is paradise, from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave it is absolutely stunning. We arrived after a long flight and transfer to be greeted warmly by the hotel manager with welcome drinks and refreshments. The check in process was easy and straightforward, and then we had a tour of the grounds and facilities before being escorted to our room. We stayed in a deluxe room with a balcony overlooking the cove. The room was very spacious with all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. The evening meal that night was in the main restaurant, it is table service with a wonderful selection of meals to suit all tastes. The food is of exceptional quality, fine dining/al a carte with the exception of some theme nights, absolutely delicious food. The bar has a wide array of drinks on offer, the majority of which are available on the all inclusive package, again service is provided at the tables. There are 3 other restaurants to eat at, we had already been booked In to 2 by the hotel, The peninsula a Mediterranean themed restaurant and XO the Asian restaurant, both were of exceptional quality again, I simply cannot fault any of the food we ate while there, even the lunch menus are Devine. The third restaurant, The Cove is additional to all packages, with a few tables situated around the cove, we did not trey this one but the food looked as good as everywhere else so unless you want something extra special you aren’t missing out if you didn’t pay the extra. The pools are wonderful, there is on by the main restaurant, an infinity pool, another at the peninsula, also an infinity pool and heated. A further heated pool by the makeshift beach in the cove and you also have access to the waters in the cove and the sea around the perimeter of the boathouse and beyond. The Boathouse is another little gem, tucked away below the peninsula restaurant and bar, they offer a range of water sports and activities on the all inclusive package, a glass bottom boat which goes out twice a day. Kayaks, bodyboards, pedalos, sailing boats snorkelling are all available to do. The staff are incredible, they are so friendly, always happy and smiling, looking to serve you whatever you might need. The wildlife around the hotel is great to see, multiple species of birds who join you at the table, keep an eye out for the bats who live in the palm trees and fly around at night, they are enormous and fascinating to watch. There is a very well equipped gym on site, all levels of fitness catered for, with modern equipment on hand.
I would return here tomorrow such is the tranquility of the hotel, we will definitely return in the future, it was an absolute joy to stay here.

Truly beautiful hotel
An Absolutely Stunning Hotel – We Will Definitely Return!
We have just returned from a wonderful stay at the Paradise Cove Boutique Hotel in Mauritius, and it is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and stunning hotels we have ever stayed in.
We stayed in room 612, overlooking the cove and the boats, and the view was simply the best! It was an absolute pleasure waking up to such a beautiful setting every morning.
From the moment you arrive, the experience is special. Rather than queueing at reception, you are escorted to the lounge area by Guest Relations, where you are welcomed with a cold flannel and an ice-cold ginger shot before being shown around the stunning grounds. It is these little touches that immediately make you feel valued and relaxed.
The food is on another level! Apart from buffet evenings, meals are served at your table, making the whole dining experience feel special. As a vegetarian, I was absolutely delighted by the choice available. I have never seen so many different, delicious vegetarian options in one place. There was always something wonderful to look forward to.
Every member of staff we encountered was courteous, welcoming and always ready with a hello. There are far too many people to mention individually, but a special thank you to Rajesh in the dining room at breakfast and Sandeep in the Stay Bar. Both are a real asset to the hotel and couldn’t do enough for us. Their warmth and attentiveness made a real difference to our stay.
Thank you also to Alison, who was always there to help whenever we needed anything.
Our only minor niggle was the lunchtime service in the Stay Bar from around midday. We ate there approximately nine times and, on four occasions, had to attract the staff’s attention to place our order. This seemed particularly noticeable on the days when the cooking and cocktail demonstrations were taking place. I appreciate that staffing levels may have played a part, but it was the one area where the service didn’t quite match the otherwise exceptional standards throughout the hotel.
One other positive worth mentioning is that there is absolutely no need to reserve sunbeds, as there are plenty available. It makes such a refreshing change to be able to relax without worrying about securing a spot!
We will most definitely return. Paradise Cove is a truly beautiful hotel where every little detail has been considered, the surroundings are breathtaking, the food is exceptional and the staff make you feel genuinely welcome.

Fantastic hotel
What a fantastic hotel we loved it. It has a man made cove and beach so if you are wanting a proper beach maybe not for you but it was such a good hotel. The rooms were perfect enough space and the bathroom a good size with double vanity.
The food was incredible from the buffets to the à la carte menus. There are two more restaurants which you can book that are included on the all inclusive price which were a Japanese and one overlooking the sea. Both were fantastic. We didn't go to the third additional restaurant as you had to pay extra.
All sunbeds had a call button so you could get a drink whenever you wanted without having to go to the bar. There were 3 pools (and 1 in the spa area). All were lovely and 2 were heated which was a bonus. The spa was lovely we had a leg and foot massage and a traditional massage both were amazing.
The staff were all so lovely and friendly and welcoming and I want to especially mention Axcelle, Sandeep and Nivesh who were always on the ball with drinks. Nothing to fault we had the best time at paradise cove one hundred percent recommend it
