Lovely stay celebrating Wedding Anniversary
Lovely stay. Staff very attentive. Food great (especially A La Carte Restaurants). Lovely sea view room to help celebrate wedding anniversary. Lots of activities available. Food truck great.

No concern for guest safety
Upon returning to our room after breakfast, I discovered that the patio door was open. This was extremely concerning, as we had locked the door before leaving and had checked that it was securely locked. We met with the Head of Security, who advised that there had been no key-card access to our room and stated that there was no way anyone could have entered through the locked patio door. Our concerns were dismissed by him at that point. Two security officers returned to our room to inspect the door. During this inspection, they demonstrated that the patio door could, in fact, be opened despite appearing to be locked. Although security agreed to review camera footage, repeated requests for information from staff were ignored. Staff asked when we would be leaving, giving us the impression that the matter was being investigated, yet no feedback was provided about who entered the room nor did they show us any camera footage.
Despite being assured that the chef would prepare a special meal for a child with allergies, she had to eat the same pasta meal from the buffet throughout our 6 night stay. There was also a rat running across this restaurant.
We lost our reservation at the à la carte restaurant due to oversight of reception and restaurant staff. The restaurant manager was rude and unhelpful. There needs to be a better system for à la carte dining.

First time In Mauritius with the family and I must say what a fantastic resort .From the activities, amazing food with a great choice everyday , rooms spacious and clean, entertainment every evening and what really makes this a fantastic holiday is the entire staff who are so friendly from am to pm . Special mention to Rukesh and Pravesh who continually went the extra mile to look after us.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Outstanding Mauritian Experience at Beachcomber Cannonier
We recently stayed at Beachcomber Cannonier Mauritius and had an absolutely fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, it was clear why this resort is so highly regarded.
📍 Location
The location is simply stunning. Situated right on the beach, the resort offers everything you need for a complete Mauritian holiday experience. In fact, there is so much to do within the resort itself that you could comfortably spend your entire vacation there without ever needing to leave.
🌴 Atmosphere
One of the things we appreciated most was the atmosphere. The resort strikes a perfect balance between being family-friendly and romantic for couples. Mornings are lively and energetic with the breakfast buffet bustling with families, while evenings become calm and relaxing, creating the perfect setting to unwind, enjoy the peaceful surroundings, and even watch the bats flying across the evening sky.
🛏️ Rooms
The rooms are very comfortable, clean, and well-appointed. We stayed in Room 405, which was excellent overall. My only suggestion would be additional luggage storage space. We found there wasn't quite enough room for our suitcases and it could be improved by having beds designed with storage space underneath. Apart from that minor observation, the room was very comfortable and enjoyable.

Exceptional value.
A standout feature is that many activities and excursions are included, meaning you don't constantly feel pressured to spend additional money to enjoy your holiday. Water sports and other resort activities are readily available and add tremendous value to the overall experience.
🧹 Cleanliness
The cleanliness of the resort is excellent. The property is extremely well maintained, and it is clear that great pride is taken in keeping everything looking beautiful and welcoming.
🔇 Noise Levels
The resort is wonderfully peaceful when it needs to be. The only small thing worth mentioning is that guests staying on the ground floor may occasionally hear staff sweeping the balconies above in the morning. That said, you're in Mauritius to explore and enjoy the island, not sleep until midday, so it certainly wasn't a major concern.

The service throughout our stay was excellent. The staff were helpful, professional, and always willing to assist.
🎯 Amenities & Accessibility
The amenities are fantastic and very inclusive. An added bonus is the resort's proximity to public transport. We made extensive use of the local bus services and would highly recommend them to other visitors. The buses are incredibly affordable, reliable, and an excellent way to explore the island.

Beachcomber Cannonier delivers a genuine Mauritian experience with beautiful surroundings, great service, fantastic value, and plenty to do for both families and couples.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return.

It was soooo fun. There was a lot to do like swimming tennis, archery, swimming, gym,boat trips…etc. there is even a kid
The people that work there are so nice! Especially Amrita, Collen, Mulliah qnd Prithve. They were so amazing and made the experience 10 times better for us! They gave us a lot of tips and places where to go.
