The island's capital, Port-Louis, a bustling centre of business and entertainment, is only 15 kms from the hotel. It is located 55 kms from Sir Seewoosagur International Airport of Mauritius and only 15 kms from the island's hub, Grand Baie, known for its shopping, restaurants, bars, and nightlife. This hotel stands at the edge of 1,000 metres of sparkling ivory sands on the north-west coast of Mauritius, in the bay of Pointe Aux Piments of the Indian Ocean. Lush gardens create the perfect atmosphere for a romantic getaway. The hotel's 265 spacious deluxe rooms located in the main building offer views over the tropical garden, which leads to the beach and the Indian Ocean. Beyond simple relaxation afforded by the sand and sea, the hotel offers several games, different sport activities and excursions that range from glass-bottom boat tours to snorkelling and scuba diving.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
What an incredible 5 nights at Le Meridien Nirvana! Nothing is too much effort for the staff at Nirvana - they go above and beyond expectation to make your stay the best ever. Special shout out to Sailish and Jerome - you guys are amazing and such an asset to Nirvana. The rooms are spotlessly clean - kudos to the cleaning staff!! Delicious food at all the restaurants. A wonderful relaxed vibe on Nirvana side of the resort. Just glorious..
overall experience was good , every staff including chef in food area was very cooperative , particularly Chef Rajesh superb location..
I was blown away by the staff, the hotel, and the hospitality in every respect. It's clear that Le Meridien Ile Maurice prioritises service above all else and makes a concerted effort to deliver an exceptional experience for its guests. I travelled with my daughter, and there was not one thing we could fault — we were extremely happy with the whole experience. From the moment we arrived and throughout our stay, we felt the genuine kindness and warmth of every staff member, greeted with a warm smile and hand over heart at every turn. The four onsite restaurants were outstanding, each chef outdoing the next with incredible food, and front-of-house service was impeccable at every venue. Huge compliments to Rohan at Nomads and Shanti at Jade — and honestly, everyone — for their absolutely brilliant, 10-out-of-10 service. Suffice to say, I returned home with a big smile and a few extra kilos around my waist. No matter how busy the hotel was, one of the many concierges was always on hand to assist. We also met the hotel group's General Manager and upper management team on a few occasions, and it was clear how invested they are — always taking a genuine interest and making time for a few words. As advertised, the three pool areas were fantastic, stretching the length of the hotel with many different serviced spaces to relax and unwind. I made great use of the well-equipped gym, available 24/7, along with the sauna, steam room, and snow room. My only suggestion would be to open the sauna, steam room, and snow room earlier than 10am — it would be great to use them after an early training session, though I understand that's a niche request given how early my own training hours are. Atmosphere was wonderful, rooms were generous and well serviced, once again, 10/10. In short, we had an absolutely brilliant stay at Le Meridien Ile Maurice. It's beautifully positioned, and I will definitely be back the next time we're in Mauritius.
