Fantastic hotel. Staff are amazing, especially Rajdip! They really can't do enough for you. Would highly recommend. We'll be back!
A really great hotel and a memorable stay in Mauritus. All of the staff at the IHG resort did everything they could to make our stay at the IHG resort Mauritus very special. Rajdip our waiter for our evening in Senso restaurant looked after us very well and made us feel at home.
Rajdip provided excellent service. He was very kind, professional, and attentive throughout our stay. His positive attitude and helpfulness made our experience even more enjoyable. Thank you, Rajdip, for the wonderful service
Intercontinental Resort Balaclava is highly recommended to everyone traveling to Mauritius. I’m italian and I traveled with my family, a 2 years old daughter and my husband, to Mauritius and we stayed at the amazing Intercontinental Balaclava resort for 7 days. The location is very well maintained. They have a beautiful reception with an amazing big open terrace with ocean view. They welcome all the guests with free cocktails and food, as well as they will do a guest cocktail night where all the guests can reunite at the lobby, meet each others and have drinks and few bites offered by the hotel. All the staff is very helpful and kind, everyone was playing with my daughter and offering her food and toys. I really appreciate Whesley from the F&B because every morning he was bringing strawberries for our daughter since she likes it a lot and he was very kind with us all the time along with his team. Another point are the rooms, which are very big and clean, well equipped with all the accessories and balcony with ocean and beach view. Our room had the main king bed and another room with 2 beds inside, so very big and nice. The resort has a huge outdoor space with 2 big pools, and the beach in front of it, so you can enjoy both of them. They have garden all around the property with tall palms, local plants and flowers and cute birds, which is very nice for a walk with ocean view and there are beautiful sitting areas all along the beach and the property, where you can take stunning pictures with the view of Mauritius mountains and beach. The atmosphere is very relaxing and luxurious, as well as a natural escape in the mauritian lifestyle. They also have a bridge crossing the ocean and leading to a small beach space which is very nice and romantic. The resort also have several options for breakfast, lunch and dinner: they have buffet restaurant with variety of intercontinental food, a mediterranean restaurant Segala where you can find italian and arabic mix cuisine, as an Italian I really appreciate this restaurant with my husband who is from Egypt and we are very happy with their service, with the kindness of the chef Mohammed Ibrahim and the italian chef Mario. They also have other 2 restaurants, one with asian cuisine and one with indian cuisine. We loved the resort so much and for sure we will choose it again whenever we come back to Mauritius 🥰🥰see you soon from Giulia and Samiyah and Ahmed
