Good stay, nice hotel. Wish pool was heated.
Very nice hotel, with good facilities including private beach over the road with free water sport activities. The room are nice and clean although slightly on the small side, restaurant and bars are very good. There is a very small gym available to customers. Kudos to the sweet lovely resident white dog very sweet and friendly, please look out for her! i hope the hotel offers her a warm place to sleep at night and food/fresh water. You can reach Grand Baie and Port Louis by using the local bus (very cheap), for some odd reason official taxies in the Mauritius are incredibly expensive compared to cost of life. The only negative (which seems to be a recurrent theme) is the pools are far too cold and would definitively benefit with being heated a little; there are almost mainly in the shade.
Last suggestion: a speed bump would be beneficial on the main road outside the hotel when crossing to the beach to slow traffic down (we have seen many speed bumps in other locations). I appreciate this might not be the hotel responsibility but they could liaise with the local authority.

Lovely place
Just got back and what a Lovely hotel it is . Food good , beer good , the only issue was the pool was freezing and covered with too many tress which put half the sun-beds in the shade . The bar staff work very hard . Natasha was one of the best always checking we had drinks and . And Mr j 👊🏻 .there are no local shops in walking distance of this hotel . So bus or cab . The beach was good and the hotel provides a free glass bottom boat trips free kayaking and snorkeling trips .all shops shut about 5.30 every day which was a bit weird . But bars and restaurants stayed open to about 10.00 .rooms are very cleaned and keep to a good standard. Overall a very good hotel and Mauritius was amazing

Stay at the Coin de Mire hotel
Lovely hotel, friendly staff, lovely location just over the road from a beautiful, quiet beach. We all loved sharing the hotel with the friendly hotel dog, Princess. Our room was kept lovely and clean everyday by Asha 😊 We ate a couple of times in the Kot Nou restaurant. The food there was delicious and the staff very attentive and friendly. The swimming pools were a bit too cold and would have been better if they were heated a little bit, but that’s a minor issue in the scheme of things. We had a great time and would definitely recommend staying at this hotel.
One in a lifetime experience ..
Calm and bright in all the right places. This hotel made us feel relaxed the second we checked in. We were so happy we chose it. This hotel was peaceful and beautiful, and it provided me with one of the most relaxing stays I've ever had. They genuinely care about making guests feel at ease. And on the top of that nice and very helpful staff.. Hats off to coin de mire hotel n staff
It can be better than this one.
We had good time together. Atmosphere, and the environment, the restaurant was clean. The staff services we got was amazing, really helpful, kind and well explained everything especially Kumaren at the TabaJ, he take good care of our order well, always here for our service. The food also was tasty, just not so many variety.
Really appreciate the staff, one of the staff even took our pitcure to make it a memorial day for us.
