Superb holiday gateway . Only 4 hours from Nairobi .
Superb location , fantastic frangipani junior suit, loved the atmosphere , good value for money . Loved the service was super excellent , esp on arriving meeting Sada , the other staff at the restaurants Prakash , Smita and so many waiters serving us they gave service with a smile . It’s my third time were different resorts but loved this one was best . Fantastic golf course anahita but ile du cerf was tough . Happy got the best weather . Definetly will come back here again. Food was superb at main tsh restaurant , coco bar and the Indian restaurant.

⭐ A piece of paradise at Shangri-La Le Touessrok Our stay at Shangri-La Le Touessrok was simply unforgettable. From the moment we arrived and warm welcomed by Ali, who did whatever is needed that we’ll feel like a home, until the very last moment, we were surrounded by beauty, care and genuine warmth. We were absolutely amazed by everything — from the stunning design of the resort to the smallest details that made our stay feel truly like paradise. The rooms and suites are beautiful, spacious and exceptionally comfortable, and the twice-daily housekeeping service was wonderful. Every detail was taken care of with such care and attention. But what truly made our experience extraordinary was the people. The staff are incredibly kind, professional and attentive. They know exactly what they are doing, but more importantly, they seem to anticipate your wishes before you even have a chance to ask. We felt cared for, welcomed and genuinely appreciated throughout our entire stay. We loved the little touches everywhere — including the complimentary water and sorbet in the private refrigerators around the pool and on the beach, the excellent service at Frangipani beach, the beautiful surroundings and the wonderful choice of activities. The water activities, excursions and boat trips to the islands added so much to our experience. Yet, somehow, the greatest pleasure was simply being here and enjoying the resort itself. We truly felt that we were surrounded by care, kindness and love. This was not simply a hotel stay. It was an experience, and one of the most beautiful holidays we have ever had. A special thank you to every single person working at Shangri-La Le Touessrok. From the front office and housekeeping to the restaurants, beach and pool teams, activities staff and everyone behind the scenes — you all contributed to making our stay so special. We would like to thank each and every one of you for your hard work, your smiles, your kindness and for making us feel so at home. Thank you for giving us a little piece of paradise. An Unforgettable Stay at Shangri La Mauritius — Ali Is the Reason We Would Return
We had a wonderful stay at Shangri-La Le Touessrok, and one person who truly stood out was Ali from Front Office.
From our first interaction, Ali was incredibly welcoming, professional, warm and attentive. What impressed us most was how personal his service felt. He quickly understood our preferences, remembered little details from our conversations and often seemed to know what we needed before we even had to ask.
Whenever we needed assistance, Ali made sure everything was taken care of. Even when something involved another department, he coordinated it for us, kept us informed and checked afterwards to make sure everything was fine. Once Ali was involved, we knew we didn't need to worry about it anymore.
He was always calm, confident and genuinely friendly, and nothing ever seemed like too much trouble. He made us feel recognized and personally looked after rather than simply being another guest at the hotel.
One thing genuinely surprised us: we honestly assumed Ali was one of the supervisors or managers at the hotel. It was simply the impression we got from the confidence, professionalism and sense of responsibility he showed whenever he looked after us.
We were therefore quite surprised to discover that he wasn't actually in a supervisory or management position.
Regardless of title, Ali always made us feel that we were in very capable hands. He was reliable, professional and, most importantly, genuinely cared about our experience.
Beautiful hotels are easy to remember, but exceptional people are much harder to forget.
Thank you, Ali, for making our stay so special. You are a wonderful ambassador for Shangri-La and a great example of genuine hospitality.
We hope that when we return, we will see the same Ali — perhaps with “Supervisor” or “Manager” next to his name. After the experience we had with him, we certainly wouldn't be surprised, as we truly believe he deserves it.

This resort surpassed all our expectations in every respect. The rooms were beautifully appointed and the beds exceptionally comfortable. All staff were polite, friendly and extremely professional. Restaurant staff some of the best we have experienced on our travels. We can certainly recommend the spa treatments as the massage was exceptional. Great sports staff were on hand to try a number of sports, with the E-bike tour of the East Coast being a particular highlight. We felt the ambience and facilities of the resort were 5* standard with wonderful happy 6* staff. Thank you!

A Wonderful 5th Wedding Anniversary at Shangri-La Le Touessrok! ❤
We chose Shangri-La Le Touessrok to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary, and we absolutely loved our stay! The hotel has a beautiful, lively atmosphere, with plenty of activities to enjoy. The nearby little islands added a special touch to our experience, making our anniversary getaway even more memorable. The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout our stay, making us feel truly valued. Our only disappointment was the buffet, which is no longer as extensive or varied as it was during our visit six years ago. We would have loved to see the same impressive selection we remembered. Apart from that, everything was wonderful! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Shangri-La Le Touessrok and left with beautiful memories of our special celebration. Definitely a place we would love to return to! ❤️🌴✨
