Very satisfied with our honeymoon at Shangri-La!
We stayed at Shangri-La Le Touessrok for part of our honeymoon and we had a wonderful time! The beaches are beautiful, as well as the interior and the atmosphere.
We tried all the restaurants and we thought all of them were amazing! We especially enjoyed Safran and Coco’s. We thought the service at the restaurants was good overall, but that only a few waiters stood out. These were Dinesh, Martine, Ponnen at Coco’s and Shaioo at TSK. They always met us with a smile and made sure that our dining experience was great!
We had a problem in our original hotel room, and the hotel eventually gave us an upgrade, which we really appreciated!
The hotel didn’t do anything to acknowledge that we were on our honeymoon, which other hotels we stayed at did through for example a note in our room. In hindsight, it seems that you might have to order a honeymoon package to get the little extra.
Our best night was Tuesday at Sega Bar when The Major 5th played. It was the perfect ending of our trip! We could not recommend this enough!
Superb resort with the most amazing medical team.
Recently, my family spent three nights at Shangri-la Le Touessrok. And we had the most amazing holiday experience. The resort is beautiful with several secluded private beaches (even a private island), excellent facilities, and a range of activities to entertain the entire family. The accommodations were very comfortable and the food in the restaurants were excellent. The daily breakfast buffet was particularly grand.
During our stay, one of my family members had an serious, life-threatening emergency and the medical team at the hotel was first rate. The resort's nurse (Ashwin) and doctor (Dr. Hujjaree) were both amazing. They were knowledgeable, caring, and compassionate and provided first-rate emergency medical care to expertly resolve the issue. Dr. Hujjaree continued to followup with us, even after we checked out, to make sure the medical issue had resolved. We felt we were in the best hands and will always remain grateful to Dr. Hujjaree and Ashwin for the care they provided.

An Unprecedented Standard of Excellence – A Hotel General Manager’s Perspective
We arrived just yesterday, and our stay at Shangri-La Le Touessrok is already turning out to be an absolute dream. From the very first moment we stepped onto the property, everything has been completely flawless. The resort is breathtakingly beautiful, the views are stunning, and the atmosphere is pure paradise. As a hospitality professional with a long career as a Hotel General Manager, I look at properties through a highly critical lens. I know exactly what true luxury and uncompromising quality look like. Yet, evaluating this resort from that perspective, I can honestly say there is almost nothing, if not just a few things to improve if you dig real deep. The operational standards here are exceptionally high. Even though our short stay has just begun, the staff has already made a massive impression on my professional eyes. I am especially impressed by the German lady from the front office/Gr team. Right from moment one, she stood out as the epitome of world-class hospitality. She is remarkably professional, polite, and carries herself with a charming elegance that elevates the guest experience the moment you meet her. Furthermore, her deep hotel product knowledge of whats on offer is incredibly impressive. She can answer any questions about the property effortlessly, which reflects outstanding training and dedication. The food and beverage operation is equally commendable. I highly appreciated seeing the Executive Sous Chef actively present on the floor, circulating around the buffet and genuinely helping everyone, he personally helped me locate exactly what I was looking for during breakfast. Furthermore, the Assistant Director of F&B was incredibly supportive, helped me out in the wine cellat answering all of my wine questions with impressive expertise. The housekeeping standards are also a true testament to why this hotel is so exclusive. Last night, I had a wonderful, friendly room attendant handle the turn-down service. What impressed me the most was that just 15 minutes later, the housekeeping supervisor came by to inspect the room and ensure everything was executed perfectly. This level of quality control and double-checking is exactly what separates good hotels from truly exceptional ones. We are absolutely looking forward to dining at the Japanese restaurant tonight, and if our first day is any indication, it is bound to be spectacular. Kudos to the management team and staff for executing such a seamless operation. We are thrilled for the rest of our stay!
