Conditions for Honeymooners: The travel dates should be within one year from the wedding date and a copy of the wedding certificate should be produced at the time of check-in.
Dress Code: Daytime: Smart casual - swimwear or tank tops are not allowed. Evening: Smart casual- no shorts, bermuda shorts, beachwear or sportswear allowed. Applicable for children as from 12 years old.

- Some feedback on behalf of my family, staff are always helpful even when they are busy. Service was great at bar and restaurant. My family enjoyed the sea activities. Entertainment was good. Thanks to the club car teams.
Thanks to the GM, Mr Jean Yves( F&B), Sinjo ( Bar manager) and his teams. It was our first stay at Shandrani but not the last. Will come back soon. Thank you all.

Our Heaven on Earth
Best location few minutes from the airport. Friendly environment with super friendly and attendee staff. Great rooms with super beds. Great food and restaurant selection. 2 pools and many other facilities including mashy golf and tennis courts. Great snorkelling and the staff with a great leader mr Rico Paoletti. Being here on many occasions as a couple, with friends, with family and always felt like special guests. Been to other hotels in the past but after several returns we don't bother to look at other venues anymore and just book Shandrani. Travelled all over many continent but this is the place to unwind and load your batteries

Holiday of a lifetime
Not really sure where to start, this hotel is the best place we’ve stayed. The staff make it even more special. Every staff member was helpful, friendly, going above and beyond in every way. The facilities are wonderful, with so much to do before even thinking of exploring Mauritius, we loved the glass bottom boat and water skiing included in the AI. The buffet food is incredible as well as the al a carte restaurants. The Thai was our favourite, huge thanks to Abhi who served us he was brilliant. The views from our room were overlooking the beach and our cleaner Kavi was exceptional. I really can’t thank the staff enough. The spa is a must visit! We booked the wild south and whale watching excursions with Mautourco which were brilliant and respectful to the wildlife. A taxi to Port Louis is also a must! Want to come back every holiday from now.
South Africans avoid this Hotel
Location is top Atmosphere is poor due to staff. Don't care, give wrong advice, then no refund if taxi takes you to the wrong place. Do not inform the guest if fireworks at night. Wake up the whole resort. Communication is very low. Manager on Duty is Mauritian, same attitude

Shandrani going down
Staff are slow at reception. Attitude, tomorrow. Do not inform guests, example firework at the resort woke everyone. Thought it was an attack, many South Africans did not know what was going on. No apology. There is no Manager that can make a decision. Duty Manager is Mauritian and does not take your complaint seriously. No refunds are made, if the Staff got your request wrong, the cost is on you. Cannot ask them for direction or advice.
