Located in the south east coast of Mauritius, this enchanting property true to its name presents itself in the remarkably beautiful lagoon of Pointe d'Esny. The establishment is located 35 km from the town of cure pipe and 53 km from Port Louis the capital of Mauritius. The airport is only 12 km away. All luxury apartments are flooded with light & offer breath-taking views over the most amazing white sandy beaches in the Indian Ocean. Furthermore, the units provide all comfort travellers might need during their stay. Not far away is the charming historical village of Mahebourg. This complex is the perfect choice for those who wish to escape from the grounds and experience this little heaven.

Great beach front apartment
Stayed in a 3 bed apartment for 4 nights. Overall really pleased and would stay again.
Pros:
- Modern, clean
- Very spacious
- Large balcony with good seating
- Beautiful view of the beach from the balcony
- Peaceful and quiet
- Plenty of wardrobe space
- Very well equipped kitchen including dishwasher and washing machine
- Each room had its own bathroom
- Beautiful beach location - the beach is quiet and clean with nice sand. Allocated sun loungers for each apartment
- Gated premises with 24 hour security
Cons - not many but worth mentioning:
- Sunloungers need some attention, quite a few were tatty (still useable but some only just)
- Aircon in the master needs to be a lot better, it was quite warm at times. The main area and other 2 bedrooms fine.
- Pool is on the small side but fine otherwise
- Location wise there is a supermarket near which is good but if you want to eat out at restaurants there aren’t many. Blue Bamboo and Le Jardin de Beau Vallon are both very nice and only a few minutes in the car but other than those we struggled. Potentially not an issue if you intend to be 100% self catering

Amazing, spacious apartment with great ocean view!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Location was perfect, right on the beach so we had wonderful views of the ocean. It’s what I call the windier side of the island, and as such it is perfect for kite surfing, boating and speedboats of which we saw plenty.
The apartment was superb. Very spacious, open and airy. Clean and modern throughout. It has everything you need, washing machine, dishwasher, oven, microwave, cutlery, plates and utensils etc all amenities. Even an umbrella just in case of rain! TV and free wifi included, plenty of seating both indoors and out as well as sun loungers and access to a dedicated lounge area closer to the beach with 2 loungers and shaded canopy.
The rooms were large all with en-suite facilities. Loads of storage and wardrobe space. Lovely powerful showers as well!
All rooms are nicely decorated and to a high standard of finish.
There is a dedicated parking space for each apartment if you have a car and spaces for visitors as well. Security 24/7 as well.
Would definitely visit again. Jashvani was an excellent host and manager and very helpful. All the staff on site were amazing, working hard to keep everything looking great from security to house keeping to garden maintenance. All wonderful & happy staff and very polite. Made us feel at home. Thank you to everyone here and all at Horizon!

Nothing "luxury" about it....
We did not have a rental car and booked trips to get around. For this apartment, that could be an issue:
- You need to drive to the next grocery store
- The next restaurant is 15 to 20 min on foot and at night the road is quite dangerous to walk along. Now, we should have planned better for this and also our arrival time meant that all grocery stores were closed at the time and that left us with no breakfast the next day. Horizon provide a tiny bottle of milk, a few sachets of instant coffee and that's about it...
Also, there was no staff around when we checked in (arrival after 8pm) and out (we checked out at 6am for a tour). We had to deal with the security guy instead.
The pool is quite small but at least it is cleaned daily.
We did not have running water for 2 of our 5 days... for a self contained apartment that is quite bad as you can't flush the toilet, don't take a shower, don't do the dishes, can't do a laundry...
The apartment was moldy, not well cleaned, had a dusty smell and coffee was not refilled by cleaning staff. Also, they have a Nespresso machine, but only provide 4 sachets of coffee mix...
Also bear in mind that this area is very windy and the windows are not sealed properly so you constantly have wind blowing into your room....
Also some neighbors seem to be staying long term and complain when you use the pool, because their baby is sleeping... very welcoming indeed. Especially when they look at your Asian Wife and ask "DO YOU SPEAK ENGLISH"? Seriously...
To the positive side: Great view on one of the nicest beaches on the island. Would I recommend this? No.

Disappointed stay due to noise and management issues
We would have loved this place if it weren’t for two major issues. There was constant construction and drilling in the apartment below us throughout our stay, which made it impossible to relax. On top of that, the dishwasher was broken. We raised both concerns with management, but unfortunately no compensation or meaningful resolution was offered. It was very disappointing to book this property expecting a peaceful, relaxing holiday, only to be faced with ongoing noise pollution. Even more disappointing was the lack of responsiveness to our concerns.

We have just returned home after spending 16 incredible nights at Paradise Beach as a family of four (two adults and two children aged 12 and 16), and we honestly cannot say enough good things about this place.
From the very first moment, we felt genuinely welcomed and taken care of. A huge thank you to Martine and her amazing staff – your warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail made our holiday truly exceptional. Every single day we were met with smiles, kindness, and a level of service that went far beyond our expectations.
We stayed in a spacious three-bedroom apartment, and it was absolutely perfect for our family. Each bedroom had its own private bathroom, which made everything easy and comfortable for both adults and teenagers. The apartment was well-equipped, beautifully maintained, and truly felt like a home away from home.
Paradise Beach is not just a place to stay – it’s a place where you feel at home while living in paradise. The atmosphere is relaxed, the surroundings are stunning, and everything is handled with care and heart. Any day, we would choose Paradise Beach over a traditional resort – the personal touch, space, and genuine hospitality simply cannot be matched.
This was without a doubt one of the best holidays we’ve ever had, and Paradise Beach will forever hold a special place in our hearts. We are already dreaming of coming back – and would recommend this place to anyone without hesitation.
