Veranda Palmar Beach is a freshly renovated resort set on the most beautiful pristine beach of Mauritius. Situated on the edge of one of Mauritius' most beautiful lagoons, the Veranda Palmar Beach hotel is a delightful 3 star plus property known for its welcoming atmosphere.
The lagoon is the perfect place to try the many watersports on offer or if you are looking for a more relaxing time the beach and wellness lounge will be perfect for you. Having undergone a partial re design by a local interior designer in mid-2013, the property now features a marine inspired scheme, a calming style in harmony with the surrounding tropical landscape.

Paradise away from home
Veranda Palmer Resort is beautiful and idyllic. Restaurant was great too and food was amazing. My only critique is that certain foods needed to be requested at the breakfast service or dinner service eg it’s breakfast but there’s no bacon. We had to ask then wait in the meantime your other food is getting cold or done.
Atmosphere around the resort is calming and friendly. Staff are helpful and kind. Coco, Babu and Neelish were our favourite barman. Shristee and Akillen were our favourite waiters and Sami, Brandon and Kewel were great mangers - making sure our stay was memorable. Samira and Kevin were amazing at the reception too. Welcoming was amazing.
Our room was well lit and close to all amenities. It had a bit of a damp smell upon entering but it soon cleared as doors opened.
Definitely value for money - food, drinks and snacks like the afternoon kiosk serving savoury and/or sweet pancakes with coffee or tea was awesome.
I would 110% recommend this resort and will be returning with my family in the future.
