Its mile long beach of immaculate white sand fringed by tropical gardens its refined and deliciously nostalgic decor inspired by turn of the century plantation houses. Its butler service surpassing the colonial palaces of yesteryear its exotic and delicate cuisine are only some of the ingredients which have contributed to the hotel success.

Great experience. Would definitely recommend.
Clean rooms. The hotel is old style glamour. It feels very special being here. The beach is clean with some interesting coral and sea life nearby. The free snorkeling and glass bottom boat ride were fantastic. There were lots of other activities included too. The food in the buffet was excellent, fresh and cooked well. The plantation restaurant was exquisite. The chef Ashkay cooked great Mauritian food and all the staff are friendly. It's a quiet atmosphere. You can walk along the whole beach front to the public beach and other hotels. The water is shallow. It can be a bit windy but the swimming pools can be used if the sea is choppy. Clina the masseuse was excellent too. The sauna and steam room were complimentary too. Compared to other hotels we've been to this was great value. It's a very quiet hotel. Guests were chilled and everyone is having a nice time. It attracts nice clientele.
Fantastic relaxing stay
This a great hotel on the east coast where the cool breeze complements the fantastic weather and location. Great rooms and the service throughout is excellent

An excellent hotel with great staff
The hotel was close to the beach, with own pools. Nice and celan hotel with excellent staff and very high quality of food and drinks.

Another superb stay at The Residence!
We spent three glorious weeks with our every whim catered for. The room, food and complete experience was amazing - it always seems to get better! Thanks to our numerous friends for their courtesy and professionalism throughout our stay set it apart from other resorts. Thanks to all the beach staff (Maya at the Earth Garden), and all the pool support people for their efforts.
